He's abit old for Bond now.
Henry Cavill is getting my vote to take over when Daniel Craig hangs up the shoulder holster.

Either Cavill(who might actually start looking old enough if there is a long hiatus) or Scott work for me.

Scott might have been a reasonable choice around 2005/2006 but, being about the same age as Craig, is not going to play Bond now.

Dougray bloody Scott. The one man I can absolutely not stand as 007. He was rubbish in Hitman , he would be hideous as 007. There is something about him that really irritates me well beyond the norm.

BROSNAN COST ME 007 ROLE

May 22 2006

ACTOR Dougray Scott has revealed Pierce Brosnan ruined his chance of being the next James Bond.

The Glenrothes-born actor was in talks with filmmakers about taking over as 007 before the last adventure, Die Another Day.

But Brosnan performed a U-turn and agreed to play Bond one last time.

Dougray, who was then passed over for Daniel Craig, said: "I'm not sure if it was ever for me.

"They first talked to me about it five years ago but then Pierce Brosnan wanted another go.

"Good luck to Daniel."

Scott looks more like a villain than Bond.
