Correct.
I bet he did not utter such trash talk as the new Bond did upon getting off the boat. BBC-A and G4 channels running Connery/Brosnan Bond marathons here today. Now THAT'S entertainment!

Here we have young Craig circa 1996 10 years before the Botoxtm made his pout permanent. Ever wonder how much makeup and special filters are used to keep Craig's "youthful" vigor up well here you go.

He looks like Dwight Frye there and would be a PERFECT Renfield in Dracula. Sign him up. See, there is something to relate him to properly.

Sadly, Christopher Eccleston has aged a lot better than DC has(though Eccleston is playing John Lennon..and he's an interesting looking John Lennon. )

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I think there is a Beatles film due out in October this year in the USA which bombed in the UK. I was at the Beatles Fest this past weekend in New Jersey and the MC said to check it out here. Anyone see it in the UK? Spenser Davis performed with Liverpool, the Beatles cover band, at the fest. Plenty were there from the UK.

I think Nowhere Boy is the movie you're thinking of. Coincidentally, the director is a good friend of Daniel Craig's.bjmdds wrote:I think there is a Beatles film due out in October this year in the USA which bombed in the UK. That's the film. A friend of DC?
Anyone in the UK see it? They showed a 3 minute clip of it at the fest.

Forget Kevin Bacon..seems like Daniel Craig is connectable to most of the actors currently working in the UK by only a few degrees!

A friend of DC who obviously didn't feel the need to miscast him in a role just for the sake of using him in her movie. Now there's a novel concept.bjmdds wrote:That's the film. A friend of DC?

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
What's everyones feeling on Rachel Weisz taking the role as a the villain in Bond 23? As speculated by some sites.
Or the Lady GaGa rumour that the British tabloid The Sun ran a a day or two ago?
Rachel Weisz I could handle. She's a good actress who could actually bring something to a film.
Though Gaga is just this seasons Amy Winehouse in my opinion. Can't stand it.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I so agree about GaGa basically being a flavor of the month. I don't think she has the staying power of say, Madonna(let's hope GaGa doesn't start dabbling in Kabbalah
 ).
Weisz is an OK actress. I think if they are going to go somewhere interesting with it and not having it be a rehash of something they've done before, then great.

Rachel Weisz is decent but not a powerhouse. She wouldn't be a bad choice a mixed as I am about Quantum I don't if know a Ernstna Stacy Blofeld is a sound idea.

Whilst the Spectre storyline is still a grey area, I wonder if the Gardner creation of Blofelds daughter is allowed to be incorporated?
Could be an interesting twist to the Blofeld saga if it was.

IIRC they don't have the rights to any of those books..doesn't mean they couldn't do it though..however,I think a legal battle thing is the *last* thing EON wants right now.
