Sorry, but Barbara's half-a$$ed attempt at bringing back the formula mixed in with the crap of the reboot is not satisfying in the slightest for me. This guy is just another example of how much divide the reboot has created by bringing in fans who never cared for the Bond series. At least the Brosnan era brought in fans who appreciated the qualities that made the Bond films so enjoyable.
Someone should tell this person he/she didn't "discover" love for Bond with CR because for starters it's the least Bond-like movie QOS aside(the reviewer was right about that at least-let's just assume everyone were drunk while doing it) and if you didn't like Bond when he was Bond then you don't like him now either. It's also laughable how the reviewer liked Skyfall and yet that same movie ripped off some elements from a certain previous Bond movie.
P.S. Moore gif explains it all.

I'm not sure what that reviewer is on about!

Happy New Year!

It was a strange Christmas with the celebrities passing away, especially two associated with Christmas.

It was said best (@ Alt 007 I believe) Craig is Bond for people who never liked Bond.
What staggers me is these blogger fellows who watch all the 007 movies and somehow still come out praising the latest whichever entry this may be. How can any one watch Sir Sean throu cheeky Irishman Pierce then still see ape-man Daniel as the most refined and Bond like?

Happy New Year to all!!!

My sincerest hope this is the year we finally see a new 007 come to pass, perhaps combined with the return to classic Bond values! :NewYears: :NewYears:
2016 was a brutal year. Glad to see it go.

William Christopher, the actor best known as Father Mulcahy on the classic sitcom M.A.S.H., died today following a battle with lung cancer. He was 84, and died in his Pasadena home according to his son, John, who made the news public.

Well, this blogger certainly didn't watch all the 007 movies since she said herself she never liked Bond in the first place.
There are more people out there on forums who claim they are Bond fans but by their comments you can see they only really like the Craig era(and grudgingly respect Connery).
As for some people who claim Craig is the most refined and Bond like...well,all I can think of is they have no idea what refined or Bond like means whatsoever.
Still,I don't see those type of comments all that much most fanboys just go with "badass, tough not like that horrible Roger Moore" type of comment. Because,in reality, even they know Craig is not refined and Bond like.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them continues to draw audiences seven weeks into its release. The Harry Potter spin-off earned $3.9 million in the three-day weekend, taking its total in North America to $223.9 million. The film added $8.7 million from 59 territories overseas this weekend, crossing the $550 million mark outside of North American and helping launch the new franchise to $775 million globally. China ($85.6M), the UK ($63.7M), and Japan ($54.1M) rank among its top overseas performers..........originally I hoped for $800 million global and thought the hype might get it possibly to $1 billion but reaching the $800 million mark soon should be a nice start to the prequel and I am sure our FBF would agree :!:  I just hope they improve on the next film's tie-ins to the Potter franchise more. It's similar now to Cr-egg's reinterpretation of Bond with the CR prequel trying to show how Bond got up to the point of Dr. No and I am still convinced we might hear about Dr. No in another upcoming EON waste of time futile attempt to produce a Bond film.

FB is still in its infancy. Give it a few films then we'll have a $1 billion film from the spin-off series.

FBF, how about that new SW's avatar for you?---------------------The success of ‘Rogue One’ has pushed the ‘Star Wars’ series to another box office milestone.

According to the figures of Box Office Mojo (via MovieWeb), ‘Rogue One’s current global takings of $653.9 million (approx £530 million) have pushed the overall box office haul of the ‘Star Wars’ series to $7.34 billion (approx £5.95 billion).

This figure – which includes the grosses of the 1997 Special Editions and animated movie ‘Star Wars: the Clone Wars’ – pushes the Lucasfilm franchise ahead of the James Bond series, whose total grosses to date are $7.04 billion from the 24 films made since 1962.

Carrie Fisher suffered a drug relapse about a month before her fatal heart attack, a new report says.

“Carrie had relapsed around Thanksgiving,” a source told RadarOnline. “I saw her myself high as a kite once, not that long ago.

“Ironically, she said to me, ’You’re too old to get high anymore, dear.’ I replied, ‘You, too, dear.’ ”

Sad, but I suppose some good could come out of it if it helps serve as a warning to others.
