well if your bookmark had not bond in it that sever was misdirected, classics apparently worked fine, I could see both so it was probably a dns issue

James Bond actor Daniel Craig, who appeared with The Queen in a film for London's Opening Ceremony, had been due to be Omega 'brand ambassador' at this year's Olympic Games but is now not attending.

One would think that a man that so desperately lacks charisma wouldn't even get the offer to be a brand ambassador but here we are...around the time of CR wasn't Caterina Murino the ambassador instead of Craig?

dunno. According to the omega website (no relation) he became brand ambassador 2010, most of the Bond girls seem to get the title each movie.

Talking about the history of brand ambassadors and bond, Brosnan was both with GE, dropped in 2006.
But Craig was not immediately coronated. I thought maybe there was a few ads, beside the painful placement in the movie.

"Not so with Daniel Craig when he donned the tuxedo and was credentialed with a license to kill in the 2006 release of Casino Royale. Omega updated its list of Ambassadors to remove Pierce Brosnan, keep James Bond, and not to add Daniel Craig."

The 2016 Olympic opening ceremony was easier to watch without Daniel Craig in it. His 2012 appearance was a bit embarrassing.

Looks like suicide squad is going to open big, bad ratings but that don't matter to DC fans, guess we could lump Craig fans in there too. Any DC fan will spend big money on bad films

Yeah, when I looked at Rotten Tomatoes, it only had a 33% rating. I suspect it will be massively front-loaded, though.

I think it as front loaded as BvS, and will drop off as quick. How are the worldwide numbers? I read bo mojo but didn't get a feel of that was as strong world wide as BvS.

My guess is suicide squad will end up with $120-30s real numbers just shy of the opening predictions

Partly because of the olymipcs and partly because it's DC fan bait and not good movie making.

It's sad a front loaded bad movie can give the stars and producers bold talking points of success. Shouldn't be surprising since Spectre and quantum of specter has Broccoli and Craig walking around like they proved how good they.

'Suicide Squad' Shoots Down August Record with $135 Million Opening. Budgeted at $175 million, the film's theatrical longevity now comes into question as it holds a mere 26% rating on RottenTomatoes and could be looking at a steep, 65+% drop next weekend. Critics Consensus on RT: Suicide Squad boasts a talented cast and a little more humor than previous DCEU efforts, but they aren't enough to save the disappointing end result from a muddled plot, thinly written characters, and choppy directing........Boxoffice.com :Suicide Squad absolutely dominated overseas just as much as it domestically, opening with an amazing estimated $132.0 million in 57 markets. This sets the new record for highest August opening internationally, in addition to its aforementioned August domestic opening record. The movie was led by $13.9 million in the United Kingdom, $11.3 million in Russia, $11.3 million in Brazil despite competition from the hometown Rio Olympics, $10.7 million in South Korea, $10.6 million in Australia, and $10.4 million in Mexico despite not being shown on one of the country’s largest theater chains after a dispute with the distributor. This puts its global total at a humongous $267.1 million after only its opening weekend.

Hmmn.

http://home.bt.com/news/showbiz-news/ha ... 4078027246

Tom Hiddleston is out of the running to be the next James Bond, according to spy thriller writer Frederick Forsyth.

The Night Manager actor had at one point been bookmakers’ favourite to succeed Daniel Craig as 007.

But he has dropped to fourth in the race, behind Poldark’s Aidan Turner, American Hustle’s Jack Huston and Granchester’s James Norton.

Now 77-year-old Forsyth, author of best-selling spy novel The Day Of The Jackal, claims that an anonymous source told him there was “no way” Hiddleston would ever be handed the role.

He told the Mail on Sunday: “I got a tip the other day which I’ll share with you.

“I understand (Bond producer) Barbara Broccoli is absolutely no way going to pick Tom Hiddleston. No. Way.”

So an anonymous source told Freddie Forsyth that Barbara Broccoli said that Tom Hiddleston isn't going to be Bond. Well, that's settled then.
