But I don't think anything less than a movie where he gets top billing that grosses over a billion dollars, gets at least 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, and wins Pierce a best actor Oscar will be good enough for FBF. Like Omega said, he sets the bar for success unfeasibly high.

Based on his current work, Pierce might as well as be Seagal. BJ I thank you for the cheer up and all. After Urge, I realize the Hollywood is making a Seagal out of him. Do I have to like it? No. Will I have to accept it? I might as well.

Kris, Pierce just needs a career that is more deserving than his Bond career. If he is on the same boat as Christian Bale, that would a different story, and there wouldn't be this talk. Besides, I only bring up Urge to just make a fun of it. Really though, his work is becoming a laughing stock not unlike Seagal's.

When has Seagal ever done a movie like The Ghost Writer or even No Escape? And Christian Bale is also mostly doing smaller films post-Batman. His biggest starring role was as Moses in Exodus: Gods and Kings, which was a critical and commercial failure. Was that Barbara Broccoli's fault too?

Can anyone see the main page? DCINB main page
Some of the guys in the Uk and myself can't see it. Site support says it's up and all good.
It appears people in certain parts of the world can see the main page. Look like California west the site is visible. Somewhere in the middle of the US all the way to England it directs people to the wrong server. If you could let me know if you can see the page and in general where you are, UK, Europe, east coast, west coast, it will help with the trouble shooting.

Thanks!

You missed the point here. Like BJ said, Pierce is slowly heading towards the Seagal route based on his current work.
And Christian Bale is also mostly doing smaller films post-Batman. His biggest starring role was as Moses in Exodus: Gods and Kings, which was a critical and commercial failure.
Like Pierce, Bale is focusing on smaller projects after 7 years in a landmark role. Bales' current work is not perfect either. While I like to see him take lead in another mainstream film, I'm not too worry about his career since TDK Trilogy ended well with Rises. Maybe Rises itself is not perfect, but I don't care what anybody. It's the best of the trilogy in my book. I don't mind if Batfleck trilogy will end up besting Nolan's. But that's another story. Anyway, Bale is doing fine despite the few misses. Pierce, on the hand, is becoming an embarrassment that his work is becoming a laughing stock very slowly. It's something I will have to accept. Not to say that is it's his fault. He's just staying working like you said. Like BJ said, his agent is doing a terrible job.
Was that Barbara Broccoli's fault too?
Where the hell did you get that from? Bale is miles away from Babs' evil regime.

FBF,your talks about how Brosnan has an unsuccessful career post-Bond won't make Brosnan star in the highest grossing, highest acclaimed film of the year. I doubt he looses sleep over the fact that he didn't star in a movie like that so you shouldn't either. Lile Kristatos said when did Seagal star in a movie like The Ghost Writer or No Escape? Or Married Life or The Tailor of Panama for that matter? As far as I know he didn't. It'an apples and oranges comparison.

Why is Bourne better than Bond
Barbara tried so hard to sell this reboot as something dark and gritty a la Bourne and then she gets the remark that her latest "masterpiece" is ridiculous.

Bond has become incredibly boring since the filmmakers started ripping off from Bourne, in my opinion, and I definitely do not want another Bourne-esque Bond film. The writer sounds like most of the Craig fans/Bond snobs who complain about all the qualities that made the Bond series so great and different from other spy-themed films. If the Bond films are not for you, then find something else that suits your tastes. It reminds me of those Playstation and Xbox gamers that constantly complain about how Nintendo's consoles aren't exactly the same. If you have two game consoles and PC gaming that are all very similar, why should Nintendo be the same?

And speaking of video games, the recent Bond games have also fallen victim to the overly dark and realistic tone of the Craig era, and is part of the reason why most people didn't find them appealing. Remove most of the unique qualities of Bond, and the games become generic shooters that blend in with many other shooter games on the market.

This WILL make FBF VERY happy!----------It's a big weekend for Harry Potter fans.

Nearly ten years since the final book J.K. Rowling wrote for the franchise, a new installment, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," drops at midnight Sunday. The timing is fitting -- it's Potter's birthday, and Rowling's.
But the book is not a novel, and it's not written by Rowling. Instead, it's the script of the play of the same name, currently running in London. Rowling's hand isn't totally absent from it, though -- playwrights Jack Thorne and John Tiffany collaborated with her for the story.
The plot picks up where the epilogue of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" left off, 19 years after Voldemort's defeat. Potter now has three children and works at the Ministry of Magic.
Based on preorder sales, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" could become the top selling book of 2016 for both Amazon and Barnes & Noble. But the real fun will be had in physical bookstores around the country, many of which are hosting parties at midnight. (Scholastic has created a website where you can enter your zip code to find a party near you.)
The book comes at a time of renewed interest in Potter and his adventures.
This fall, Warner Bros. (which, like CNN, is owned by Time Warner) is releasing "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," a film based on Rowling's hit 2001 book, about the magical creatures in the world of Harry Potter. It'll star Eddie Redmayne and Colin Farrell.

This is the most groan-worthy article I have ever seen. Bond a sociopath? A terrible person because he likes all the finer things in life? Bourne a better person because he is a one-woman type of guy? Groan. HUGE groan. Who the hell discusses about whether Bourne or Bond are good next door type of guys?! Ah,yes, let's all blame double-taking pigeons because that is the biggest sin of the franchise along with the invisible car. That vomiting Brofeld stuff is a far greater mistake.

Honestly if the spoilers I've read end up to be 100% true you'll soon forget about this PC move.
The story will be a far greater problem than Hermione all of a sudden being black.

You're all the missing the point here. I never said Seagal did movies like those said films. What I'm saying is that based on his current work now, Pierce might as well be in the same boat as Fat Seagal. Unfortunately, I'm going to have accept this. Do I have to like it? No. Like BJ said, I might well as look for someone to cheer on. Certainly it's not DC. Are we in agreement here BJ?

I think she is talking about the script of the play FBF. Brosnan's agent has done him dirty!
