Hopefully a lot.

I wonder how big is ID4 2 will be in China. I was at the movie's IMDB message board not long ago, and one of the posters said that the sequel features a Chinese character (who is a big part of the film) that would attract the Chinese moviegoers. It's kind of like the last Transformers which partly took place in China, and at the time of release, it was a highest grossing film there. My point is that anything that features the Mainland China or Chinese characters that play a vital role tends attract Chinese audiences, but that's just me though.

It's not out for a couple of weeks. We probably won't know the screen count until a few days beforehand.

The panel were also asked about rumours Aidan Turner could be the next James Bond, insisting filming would continue as planned.

Yentob added he had enjoyed a recent lunch with Barbara Broccoli, the Bond producer responsible for casting, claiming she had not yet made up her mind.

Bags of Bones didn't work for Pierce the last time. Hopefully this one will.

Brosnan looks pretty busy FBF, which should make you happy. Now, turn your attentions to a new Bond that is Brosnan-esque in stature so you can enjoy him IF Broccoli lets Cr-egg finally go.

That may be, but the entertainment world is pulling a Seagal on him like you said.

I can accept Aidan but NOT when that b1tch is in control. Anything post-Brosnan with Babs name on it.............I WILL BOYCOTT!!!!! And that includes a Brosnan type. If Pierce's son Sean is the one, however, then I'll take my chance.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR: With a global cume to date of $1,132M, Captain America: Civil War is now the 12th highest grossing movie of all time worldwide. Since last weekend, the Disney/Marvel pic passed Skyfall, Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King and Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. This frame, it added $4.4M overseas to take the international total to $742.9M.

I hate to be a downer about all the excitement over a new 007, however after doing research into decade old stories for something I wrote I found these betting firms driving the stories have a very bad track record. Same group calling it now for Turner had it so badly wrong in 2005. It depressing how wrong they were. I almost posted their list from early 2005, it was so far off the money I would not put any faith in them now.

We know Henry Cavill and Sam Worthington were among the top contenders, bet-makers somehow missed them. If not for Ms Broccoli's preference in older looking blondes Cavill was the top contender. (Shrug) Water under the bridge. I guess we will never know what could have been if a better actor capable of Bond had gotten the chance, while it's not all Daniel's fault I have a feeling the series would not have gone so far off course and so far down the rabbit hole chasing prestige at the art house film society.

What a strange story Worthington had about being signed and EON having him undergoing special forces training to get him ready. My guess is he was a understudy at best, like so many others who have come out after the fact to say they had a signed contract to step in if anything bad happened. I believe this is what Dougray bloody Scott was as well, his story was Pierce coming back to make DAD robbed him of his chance at 007. I suppose Hugh Jackman clubbed him at the finish to take Wolverine away as well. When was Pierce ever not coming back for DAD? Best I can come up with is the studio and EON keep a stand in ready.

I remember one tabloid announcing that Eric Bana was going to be the next Bond and there were several stories about Clive Owen being the studio choice. At one point bookies closed the book on Dougray Scott because of a big wager. Daniel Craig seemed to come into the picture quite late. How I laughed when a tabloid newspaper announced the craggy bloke from Our Friends in the North was up for James Bond. You never know with Barbara.

Yes, that was the story with Clive Owen. I don't think he ever wanted the part anyway. Not that it was offered.
