Has Mark Strong just confirmed that Daniel Craig is quitting James Bond?
The actor says Craig has done everything he wanted to with 007 and won't stick around to die another day
Has Daniel Craig completed his final mission as James Bond? Well, his good friend Mark Strong certainly seems to think that Spectre was Criag's final outing as 007.
“Do you know what, I’d have loved to have played the villain in a Bond movie while Daniel was doing it because he’s a pal and that would have been great. But I think he’s come to the end of his Bond time and so it’s probably never going to happen, but that would have always been great,” Strong told ShortList.
“Having played so many villains, it would have been wonderful to have done the villain of villains, if you like. Because a Bond villain has a status all of his own,” he added.
Strong starred with Craig in BBC drama Our Friends in the North, and the Bond star is godfather to Strong's eldest child.
Strong said he'd certainly do what he could to convince Craig to return to the silver screen as the famous British agent, but hinted that there “powers at work greater than us who make all these decisions.”
Craig had been rumoured to depart as Bond after Spectre, and when he made some rather outrageous comments about his reluctance to return to the role there was a bit of a hullabaloo in the acting world.
Nevertheless, his term as the franchise’s leading man hasn’t done his career any harm. It’s just that now, according to Strong at least, he’s looking for a change of scenery.
“He has been [wonderful] and he’s loved it. But I think he feels like he’s mined it. He’s done what he wants with it. That point has come.”
No smoke WITHOUT fire.
had to think about who he is. He's the kings man version of Q.
Power at work greater than us? I remember the same sort of talk from pierce when he wanted to come back for one more

Release Date: Nov. 18
Opening Weekend: $100 million
This "Harry Potter" prequel stars Eddie Redmayne as eccentric wizard Newt Scamander, who is on the hunt for monsters that have escaped from a magical suitcase. Expect the buzz for this film to own your attention the closer we get to release, as Warners hopes fans will flock to this Potterworld installment like they did to the previous one. Newton Artemis Fido "Newt" Scamander, O.M. (Second Class), (b. 1897) was a famed Magizoologist and author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Scamander developed an interest in magical creatures early in life, influenced by his mother's breeding of hippogriffs. After attending and graduating from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Scamander joined the Ministry of Magic, spending two years in the Office for House-Elf Relocation before joining the Beast Division. In 1918, he was commissioned by Augustus Worme of Obscurus Books to write Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The book became a best seller, making Scamander a respected expert in the field of Magizoology. In his personal life, Scamander married Porpentina Goldstein, and fathered at least one child. By the beginning of the 1990s, Scamander was retired and living in Dorset. ............... FBF, this film is your kind of entertainment 10 viewings?
I saw the trailer with The Force Awakens, and it does indeed look really good. And it'll be interesting to see a movie actually written by JK Rowling herself, rather than adapted by someone else from one of her books.

To rebuff this I suppose Ms. Barbara will need to show her tattoo of Craig on her breast to reaffirm her commitment to the guy who would literally rather do anything else aside from Bond.
On the bright side Mark Strong is now on my Christmas card list

The reboot is in early development stages and has no producer, writer or director attached. Jordan teamed with MGM on “Creed,” which was distributed by Warner Bros. and performed well with $172 million worldwide.
The original “Thomas Crown Affair,” directed by Norman Jewison, was released in 1968. Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway starred in the film in which McQueen’s character masterminded a Boston bank robbery of $2.66 million without meeting any of the four thieves. Dunaway played the insurance investigator who realized that Crown had orchestrated the heist.
Director John McTiernan’s 1999 remake starred Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. The film was a solid hit, grossing $124 million worldwide.
Jordan came to Hollywood’s attention as a drug dealer in “The Wire” and in the indie drama “Fruitvale Station.” He starred as Adonis Creed, son of Apollo Creed, in “Creed.”
Jordan is repped by WME. The news was first reported by the Hollywood Reporter.
Not sure about this, but I rather prefer it over Thomas Crown 2 being made over 10 years after the first remake which by the way would do more harm to Pierce's career than good. The thing is one would be interested to see a sequel to a remake that is more than 10 years old unless it's a Disney film or directed by a big name director who directed the first.

My point is Hollywood is throwing out remakes and recasting actors to promote this PC BS thinking the newer film will bring them success but they are wrong and it will do just the opposite and turn people off. FBF, that guy is NOT Thomas Crown Nicolas Cage could not be recast as Apollo Creed nor could Jordan be recast in a remake of Bruce Lee's Enter The Dragon. It will NOT work.
If it's another reboot I'm not sure it'll be a hit. Mgm and WB made creed right? This is probably them keeping him happy and building his star in Hollywood. You know like they used to do for Craig when he first was cast as bond. Pierce got the original remake for the same reason

If you ask social media users, the answer would be a resounding yes. "He's a gross, creep & his behaviour & actions are not something to boast about. I will not be seeing any movies he stars in & I will not be taking my nieces & nephews to BvS. I hope Superman is handed over to a more deserving actor," wrote a People commenter, while others echoed, "I always thought he was so hot. I didn't realize he was such a sleazy deucher . Bummer," and "disgusting he gets away with it because he is attractive, if it were someone else it would be creepy and pedo, but have a great body and face and people overlook that like they did with Paul Walker." "Gross gross gross, just lost all his appeal for me," said one Just Jared reader. She is only 19 and in college:
Seriously?? She is 19,not 9. all of this is laughable. And he is 30 something not 70-something. But leave it to Americans to say mad things like things like this. Don't want to offend any Americans here but this is not the first time I have heard things like this from their mouth.

Have the number for the USA dvd release come out? I saw one but they don't list number just ranking then a percentage of bluray in the total and the percentage the next numbers sale were compare to number 1.
Also haven't seen a news story like they normally do bragging they took number 1 with so many sold. I think the dvd/bluray market us slowly shrinking I doubt the new Star Wars will sell more than revenge of the sith, just like afaik DAD is the top selling dvd because it came out when the market was hot
