Well, it's quite possible that Madeline will quietly disappear like the many other women who Bond has been happily boffing in the final scenes of Bond movies over the decades. But with the newfound obsession with continuity, I wonder if they might do what they were originally going to do with OHMSS and DAF: have Bond and Madeline happy together with "all the time in the world" at the end of one film and then kill her off as the inciting incident for the next one.

UNCLE finally hit the Worldwide total of $100,210,409 after all of this time. Given it's $75 million budget plus P&A added on, it's a bust :!:

It's a bit suspicious that tickets went on sale about 6 weeks before the movie's release. Almost as if they know they've got a turkey on their hands and want to flog as many tickets as possible before word gets around.

This could be the case. And the hype is not as big as it was for Skyfall. Back in 2012 I didn't visit any sites related to James Bond or anything and yet I knew a lot about the movie. You just coudn't escape it.

I don't know it's that unusual they always sell hunger games tickets well in advance , maybe not 6 weeks I don't know.
But there is no free tickets being offered with the rererere-release of the bond movies like there was for qos and sf, either they are so confident 1 weekend is theirs and the audience will come no matter what, otherwise they spent too much to fake attendance .

But the hype is a lot less than Sf , by a lot. Reminds me more of qos launch than cr or sf. Maybe it'll be temping up soon. After all It comes out this month in the uk

Craig says he "will keep playing Bond"

He made a point of mentioning the amount of fitness training he does to stay in shape for the role. “I work myself to death,” the actor said: “It’s getting harder. But such is life. I’ll keep going as long as I’m physically able.”

“I’m contracted for one more – but I’m not going to make predictions.”

Spectre is Craig’s fourth Bond film in nine years as 007, after being cast in 2006’s Casino Royale, and he is under contract to make at least one more. The actor revealed he seriously considered giving up playing the role after completing Skyfall. After that film’s record-breaking success, though, his participation in further Bonds appeared inevitable.
So we're looking at an approx 2020 return for James Bond. d**n, that's 18 years without a proper Bond.

you're right . Funny thing about his contract is people who only talk about bond when one is in production keep adding films to it. He got an extension for and fat pay raise in 2012, some places were saying he had two more after spectre.

I will say I have never seen so much speculation about the next bond while the current is still filming . Of course I only lived through dalton and Brosnan eras so maybe it s normal. But it seems like even though so many will say they love his best bond eva, it seems like a great many want a new bond for whatever reason.

Big O, will you spend money to see Broccoli's latest incarnation or bypass it until you get a street DVD? FBF, you won't see it in the theatre, correct?
