Yes, a non-reboot CR with Brosnan would have suited me just fine.

And there should be no Dr. Who reboot. There are decades old franchises (1970s and older) that have been rebooted aside from Bond like Star Trek, Planet of the Apes, Godzilla, but franchises like DW, no can do. The same can be said with Star Wars.
Bad news, guys: It may be time to find another white meat. A new report claims that up to half of raw chicken breasts in the U.S. contain a "superbug" bacteria that is resistant to antibiotics.
The finding, published by Consumer Reports Thursday morning, tested 316 raw chicken breasts purchased at retail stores around the country. While almost all contained some amount of harmful bacteria, just under 50% of the samples carried a bacterium resistant to three or more different antibiotics. Additionally, 11% of the samples had two or more such bacteria. Interestingly, the study showed that organically raised chickens — which are supposedly raised without antibiotics or hormones — were just as likely to be contaminated with these bacteria.
The news has consumer groups pushing the FDA to pass a law restricting the non-medical use of antibiotics on U.S.-raised poultry. Just last week, the FDA announced a new initiative to phase out such practices. It's unclear at this point what effect this new finding will have on the FDA's plans.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... H3jZTnnmO8 She just refuses go away since CR. “Penny Dreadful” is being shepherded by the “Skyfall” duo of Sam Mendes and John Logan. The so-called psychological horror drama series was pitched as having “literary underpinnings” and will see the new takes on the origin stories of classic horror monsters like Frankenstein’s monster, Dorian Gray and Dracula. The show stars Eva Green and Josh Hartnett and though Mendes didn’t direct any of the eight episodes, “The Orphanage” director Juan Antonio Bayona has helmed the first two so you don’t have to worry about any lack of scares. The series premieres next spring on Showtime.
Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn has said that Indiana Jones will not receive a new installment for at least another two or three years.
Horn said the studio is yet to finalise plans for what the fifth installment in the Lucas film franchise will be about, reported Digital Spy.
"We haven't done anything. We don't have a story. We need a story," Horn said.
He added that it did not make sense for Disney to move ahead on the project until it had finalised its purchase of the marketing and distribution rights to the franchise from Paramount Pictures. That deal was completed earlier in December.
Horn also revealed that the script for Star Wars Episode VII is yet to be delivered and is expected in January. He added that the Star Wars franchise, which Disney acquired alongside Indiana Jones in its 2012 Lucasfilm purchase, is planned to release a new film every year.
Katie Couric's talk show officially canceled
Dec. 19, 2013, 5:04 PM EST
NEW YORK (AP) — Katie Couric is calling it quits on her weekday syndicated talk show as she heads to Yahoo.
Couric and producer The Walt Disney Co. said Thursday the "Katie" show will wrap after this season. They say shuttering the show after its second season was a mutual decision.
"Katie" will continue to air through next summer.
Couric announced last month she's joining Yahoo to anchor an expansion of its video news initiative. She'll serve as the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company's global anchor.
She announced at the time she was leaving ABC News, which she joined in 2011.

How misguided those minions are.
They don't even deserve to see the return of traditional classic tall and dark haired Bond. They shall endure likes of Marty Feldman (in terms of unattractiveness) and fighters/wrestlers who can act as DC's successors.

I don't think Brosnan could have had his own FYEO. DAD was the end of the line for the Brosnan era, and rightfully so. Brosnan in a 5th Bond would have been like Connery returning for LALD . A new actor was needed, imo.
I was hoping Brosnan would do one more in 2004 as he was popular. But I was also looking forward to a new actor taking over such as Jackman/Owen. But Barbara was probably planning the reboot with Craig in 2003.

Pierce prove since 2003 he is capable of considerably more than Bond producers were allowing him the freedom to preform. No way he would be a Sean or Rodger returning for one too many. DAD was the Skyfall of the 40th year Pierce not returning was not in the scope of possibility. I very much doubt it was possible before Dana died. We as fans assumed the pr was true and Barbara was running the show back then when it was Dana.
To comparable DAD to SF, both were successful anniversary films with major problems, both have a star who was willing to return, both stars on there on a whim of a lady who if she is incapacitated another Bond will surly be recast by their successor at EON.
