Well, LTK was hardly a Bond film, BJ. It was a great action movie, would've been awesome for Sly or Arnold, but not Bond. Bond would never go rogue, as that is considered being a treason.
I never thought Dalton was Bond. I rate him a class above Cr-egg in the scheme of Bond actors. I sat in half empty theatres watching him in 1987 and 1989. His films were not received well here.

Well, he's the fourth in my list. I mean rating from the best to worst. I thought The Living Daylights was great, but I agree that Licence To Kill is not a Bond film. It was more like an American cop movie rather than something a British spy to be dealing with. Sure, Felix was murdered, but he should have AT LEAST took permission from M to investigate the situation, accusing Sanchez for being terrorist. However, I personally think it was a mistake not to cast either Lewis Collins or Ian Ogilvy in the role in the eighties. Moore should have stopped with Octopussy.

Dalton is a damned fine Bond. Living daylights was my first real bond experience part of the reason I dislike Craig as bond is because I can't see him as the bond dalton Brosnan or Connery played

I agree. I suppose Moore was slightly different when he was cast in 1972 because of the lighter hair (though he was still tall and handsome) but you can sort of accept that Connery, Lazenby, Brosnan and Dalton are the same character because they are a similar type in terms of looks. All over 6 ft, all conventionally handsome, all have black hair. Daniel Craig playing Bond is just comical. If he can be Bond then anyone can be Bond. James Bond is supposed to look more like this:

I wasn't singling Moore out its that Brosnan and dalton were my first bonds and the others came later so I don't name them as frequently.

Based on SF's nonsensical success and recognition (especially here in the US), the traditional tall and dark haired Bond is over PERMANENTLY!!!!

Well, I don't like it when anyone says Roger Moore is blond too. Moore has a sandy brown hair, and that's different than being blond. Funny thing is, CR-egg isn't originally a blond, he's brown-haired, but he Babs told him to dye his hair blond. LOLOLOL!

Do you anticipate a stronger box office in the USA or overseas for this film?

About five years ago Brosnan optioned There Are No Spies for four years. "When Aaron called me he said, 'Take it for what it is. It'll probably not go anyplace,'" said Lori Granger. And it didn't. But then Brosnan renewed the option for a fifth year at $10,000—a sum still too small to mean anything, but even so, five figures. And then Brosnan (actually, his "money people") told Priest early this year they were going to exercise the option and make the movie. And, just in case it's a hit, they've reserved the right to make a second movie from another November Man novel.

Granger died before his wife could tell him about the movie. But he knew about Brosnan's option. "In so far as he knew anything at all in the last four years," she told me. "I certainly explained it to him several times. His short-term memory was down to about 15 minutes, so it was rough. He'd gotten to the point where he didn't even remember writing the books."

Lori Granger has no intention of going to Serbia to visit the set and kick the tires of the moviemaking business. I asked her if she could see Brosnan, who's 60, as Devereaux. "I guess I can, as much as anyone," she said. "He's older than the November Man would have been in the books." (Let them ask FBF....he will tell threm :!: )

But James Bond, in those books, was in his mid-30s, and Brosnan managed. Besides, he picked the one where Devereaux comes out of retirement.

November Man on set pictures: http://photos.toofab.com/gallery-images ... y_main.jpg http://photos.toofab.com/gallery-images ... y_main.jpg FBF, Drake, et al, what say yee? Does Pierce still have the goods to pull this off? Based on Bill Granger's There Are No Spies, the seventh book in Granger's 13-part "November Man" series. November Man movie tells the story of an ex-CIA operative (Pierce Brosnan) who finds himself pitted against his former pupil (Luke Bracey) in a race to find a woman hiding from her past (Olga Kurylenko) who holds the key to an international conspiracy.
