Hardy should just stay away from James Bond. The same can be said with Chris Nolan. Why? The b1tch herself.

You said the same for Star Wars. That being said, Battlestar Galactica was considered a rip-off of Lucas' sci-fi creation.Kristatos wrote:I agree. I liked Nolan's Bat-trilogy, but it has had a corrosive effect on the film industry, with every franchise trying to copy it's dark and doom-laden approach. That approach suits Batman, but not Bond or Superman.John P. Drake wrote: Let's be honest, FBF. I know you like TDK trilogy that Nolan made, but they exactly the same as DC's Bonds and Damon's Bournes. They are of the same genre. And as long as the public love it, it definitely would gross highly at that kind of box office. It's a movie of the same mould. Let's get real at this.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
There were a lot of bad Star Wars rip-offs around at the time, and I'm not talking about Moonraker. I mean crap like Starcrash, which even Caroline Munro and john Barry couldn't save.FormerBondFan wrote:

It would be nice if you have a whole list of Star Wars rip-offs.Kristatos wrote:There were a lot of bad Star Wars rip-offs around at the time, and I'm not talking about Moonraker. I mean crap like Starcrash, which even Caroline Munro and john Barry couldn't save.FormerBondFan wrote:

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Off the top of my head, I can think of The Black Hole, Battle Beyond the Stars and the 1980 Flash Gordon in addition to the ones already mentioned. Mystery Science Theater 3000 has riffed on quite a few films like that, most memorably Space Mutiny ("Slab Meatchunk! Thick McRunfast!")FormerBondFan wrote:

I thought of that, but I wasn't sure how much of the film was actually made. The film about it is in my Lovefilm queue, but I haven't seen it yet.Omega wrote:what about ArgoKristatos wrote:There were a lot of bad Star Wars rip-offs around at the time, and I'm not talking about Moonraker. Never support anything made by the b1tch herself. The next Bond should be played by either an unattractive actor or a fighter/wrestler who can act. NO EXCEPTIONS! Tom should stay away from the Bond role, not to mentioned the b1tch herself.bjmdds wrote:FBF, how does this website handle this if it occurs? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Tom WILL stay away from Bond, FBF. But, Nolan won't. He keeps insisting that he will make a Bond movie sooner or later. But, he stated he would do it after Craig's retirement, and I smell it would be a total reboot in TDK way.

Bond=Bane with Nolan replacing Mendes in Bond 26.......so sayeth Broccoli, the omnipotent letch of the evil Eon
FBF, how will you personally handle Bane, the greatest Batman villain ever on film, being the next Bond? I'd say if Nolan comes aboard, it's 75% he gets HIS choice to play Bond for his "trilogy de Bond" masterpiece. What say yee? You ready for it?

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Tom is rather short for Bond so that's miss as far as classic elements are concerned, but he is more Bondian than DC. But still, handsome actors should go for something else so he should stay away. Unattractive actors and fighters/wrestlers who can act only. No exceptions! Wade Barrett is the one who should be Bond.bjmdds wrote:Bond=Bane with Nolan replacing Mendes in Bond 26.......so sayeth Broccoli, the omnipotent letch of the evil EonFBF, how will you personally handle Bane, the greatest Batman villain ever on film, being the next Bond? http://news.cnet.com/8301-17852_3-57602 ... -superman/ Sheer lunacy big O. Even FBF would not pay to see that, right FBF? As Twitterer @JRheiling wrote, “The only things that can defeat Superman are kryptonite, magic, and putting Ben Affleck and Justin Bieber in his movie.”

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
http://cdn3.whatculture.com/wp-content/ ... s-bond.jpg http://whatculture.com/film/tom-hardy-t ... s-bond.php The Daily Star claimed this week that Tom Hardy (Inception, The Dark Knight Rises), has stepped up to the plate next in line to Daniel Craig and the young Brit is in the eyesights of MGM and Sony after Craig has stepped down. (He is only 5'9" tall....a shorter Bond now?)

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Yes, it appears to have been started by Bieber himself. Sounds like wishful thinking on his part.Omega wrote:Anyone see the Bieber as Robin story?![]()
