They just keep making the wrong choices. Why all these are auditioned for the role? Batman is supposed to have a man who uses both his brain and brawn, someone who's manly as hell, someone who's extremely posh and not and eye candy, someone who delivers one liners all the time without stopping. Take a look at Kevin Conroy's Batman in the 1990s Animated Series, or Frank Miller's vicious towards the villains Batman (The Dark Knight Returns comic book) which was voiced by Robocop actor, Peter Weller. But, if you ask me, in real-life, nobody has the look for the role. And I mean nobody. Val Kilmer was the closest one, but the movie was ridiculous, and we all know that. However, there was once suggestions that Ray Liotta could make a great Bruce Wayne. I can't bash the idea nor I can support it. I'll have to see some performance, first. But, Gosling, Levitt among the others mentioned above do not fit the role, no after everyone well knows about the 1990s animated series along with its sequels. Even Adam West doesn't like this new interpretation of Batman via Nolan, and yet he played Batman in the 1960s TV spoof, later returned as a serious character but very villainous in Dini/Timm's animated series, even providing his voice work for Batman in a 11 minute long school project about Batman (whom he's voicing) with the irreplaceable Mark Hamill was as usual, The Joker. It was called Batman: New Times, and it was pretty entertaining. As for other choices Hollywood always makes, it just can't work. You can't pick an unmanly weak male model styled actors for this kind of macho roles. It just doesn't work.

Bale should grab the $50 million. The others mentioned won't work for Batman. If Josh Brolin is chosen, forget it :!: He is a putrid actor and would "Clooney" this Batman/Superman film and turn it into a joke. Bale and Cavill would gross over $1.2 billion possibly in the roles.

I heard Zack Snyder sat down and started discussing the storyline with Frank Miller. Hope Miller participates in the next project and they lure Nolan out.

This site has been ridiculed on Facebook, and they accuse us for hating Daniel Craig for fun. Just started a huge argument with lots of people. Why don't they go and check out That trash mi6 site? They hate Brosnan and Moore. So that's ok, right? But hating Craig isn't. Sigh. I don't usually get angry. But some people's extreme idiocy just drives me crazy. I'm not short tempered, but i find some people's stupidity really intolerable.

This site is constantly ridiculed. It's fine to bash pretty much any of the Bond actors other than the God-like Daniel Craig. You're not allowed to say anything negative about Craig, regardless how constructive, without being attacked or even banned in some cases. And then they question why sites such as this one exist. I get a kick out of whenever I hear someone say that Craig bashing has been going on since 2006 and it's time to move on. Funny how bashing Roger Moore never seems to get old, though. It's been nearly 30 years since his last Bond outing, and the hating continues on as if he was still in the role. Pierce Brosnan started getting bashed a lot because of Die Another Day, and he's the last Bond before Craig, so it's sort of a new "Battle of the Bonds" of the younger generation. But Craig is the current Bond, and as long as he's in the role, I'm going to continue to express my thoughts about him and the direction of the series.

Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan are both awesome Bond actors. If it wasn't for The Spy Who Loved Me's and GoldenEye's huge success, the franchise would have been long dead by now. This new generation can't do anything but accept feminine characters from pussyville.

Former "Bachelor" star Gia Allemand hanged herself after allegedly fighting with her boyfriend Ryan Anderson. The reality TV regular was rushed to a hospital on Aug. 12 and ultimately died two days later after an apparent suicide attempt. Now, more details of her tragic death have been revealed, as editors at TMZ.com have obtained police documents which state that Allemand wrapped a vacuum cleaner cord wrap around her neck multiple times and then tied it to the end of her staircase. The documents also reveal that Allemand left a suicide note bequeathing all her property to her mom.

The gossip site reports that Allemand may have been set off earlier in the day, when she accused her NBA pro boyfriend of cheating on her. He allegedly told her that he didn't love her anymore. The next time he saw her, Anderson found his girlfriend with the cord wrapped around her neck. She had been deprived of oxygen for more than half an hour. A funeral for Allemand is set for Thursday in her hometown of Queens, New York. http://media-social.s-msn.com/images/bl ... lemand.jpg Obviously she was quite unstable doing this over a crummy boyfriend.

Firstly, I don't "hate" Craig, I just think he's wrong for Bond. Secondly, if hating him was for fun, it's the only fun anyone would get from his tedious, self-important "Bond films".

The other sites are more Pro-Cr-egg sites than Bond sites. He is the center of their universe.......here, he is the outcast to all things Bond and in another galaxy of reality.

That's what I've been wondering for years. I mean, they have no idea what are they worshiping. First, they approved Cr-egg, then accepted a younger and failure Ben Wishaw in the role of Q, which has never made sense to me, then changed Moneypenny's backgrounds and even her first name. They have all approved this as long as the franchise does anything to keep the series going on. Back in the old days, even my father tells me, OHMSS was heavily disliked by the Bond fans who hated the drama and romance and vulnerable character elements. Another thing, The Man From UNCLE also ballsed it up with the beginning of Season 3 and fans literally hated the show afterwards, they made it the spy version of the 1960s Batman spoof. When fans see that something isn't right with the material, they disapprove it. But those Craig minions don't even know what Bond is about, they just go around and say "he's Fleming's Bond, he's the books' Bond" while they have never read a Bond novel at all. That's what I call stupidity extraordinaire. If they would accept anything that would drive Bond off his traditions, then they are NOT Bond fans. They are just err... I like to call them drifters. Because they don't have any headquarters to based from. You know what I mean?

Ian Fleming's Casino Royale had little to do with Casino Royale the movie (any of them). Somehow a movie the departs so completely from the spirit of the original story is the closest to the authors intentions. If Ian Fleming had been around when Daniel was auditioning Daniel would have been asked to take the office waste baskets to the rubbish bins, not the other way round where Ian Fleming's Bond was trashed.

If Daniel had been around when Ian, Cubby, and Harry Saltzman were making the moveis he would have been laughed off the lot. Basically he is only an actor Cubby's daughter would hire; a middle age woman's fantasy instead of the collaborative creation of Book and Movie 007 had been.

Interestingly it was after the last anniversary movie where there were rumours of a after Fleming book being adapted, The Man with the Red Tattoo and today it Devil May Care (DMC is truly atrocious, althou the author did rip Skyfall )

Speaking of stories with tattoo in the name what is going on the the sequels for Daniel Craig's monster success Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? _.//

According to the next tattoo movie, Craig will only appear in the very end of the movie and the whole thriller will be focused on Rooney Mara. As for the third movie? Dunno if Craig could be in or out.

They were supposed to film them back to back because the first one lost money.

Let them do what they want to do. The Swedish version was a lot better with Michael Nyqvist and Noomi Rapace.

Ben Affleck set to play Batman in 'Man of Steel' sequel
Aug. 22, 2013, 9:12 PM EST
By Jeff Sneider
TheWrap

Ben Affleck is set to play Batman opposite Henry Cavill in the untitled "Man of Steel" sequel that will be directed by Zack Snyder, Warner Bros. announced on Thursday. The studio has slated the film to open worldwide on July 17, 2015.

Project brings Batman and Superman together for the first time on the big screen. "Man of Steel" stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane are also set to return.

The rest of the announcement is below:

Last month's surprise announcement of the new movie featuring both Superman and Batman created a wave of excitement and immediately fueled discussion and debate—among fans as well as in the media—about who would put on the cape and cowl of Bruce Wayne's alter ego.

Snyder successfully re-imagined the origin of Clark Kent/Superman in the worldwide blockbuster "Man of Steel," which has earned more than $650 million worldwide to date, and climbing. The director will now create an original vision of Batman and his world for the film that brings the two DC Comics icons together.

In the announcement, Greg Silverman stated, "We knew we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics' most enduringly popular Super Heroes, and Ben Affleck certainly fits that bill, and then some. His outstanding career is a testament to his talent and we know he and Zack will bring new dimension to the duality of this character."

Snyder also expressed his excitement about the casting of Affleck, noting, "Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry's Superman. He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne. I can't wait to work with him."

Sue Kroll added, "We are so thrilled that Ben is continuing Warner Bros.' remarkable legacy with the character of Batman. He is a tremendously gifted actor who will make this role his own in this already much-anticipated pairing of these two beloved heroes."

Affleck recently starred in the Academy Award®-winning Best Picture "Argo," which he also directed and produced, earning acclaim and a BAFTA Award nomination for his performance in the film, as well as a number of directing honors. In 2010, he starred in and directed the hit crime thriller "The Town."

His recent acting work also includes "The Company Men," "State of Play," and "Hollywoodland," for which he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor. Earlier in his career, Affleck starred in and co-wrote (with Matt Damon) "Good Will Hunting," for which he won an Oscar® for Best Original Screenplay.

The new Super Hero film is being scripted by David S. Goyer from a story he co-created with Zack Snyder. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan and Wesley Coller serving as executive producers.
Production is expected to begin in 2014. (What a horrendous choice as Batman! Hollywood ruined another franchise. Nolan agreed to this garbage? The majority on the internet do NOT like this at all. I just watched Garfield's garbage portrayal of Spiderman on cable. I cannot believe he is an actor. He is horrible and a moron. He wants to make Spidey homosexual :!: They can take these films and shove them both :!: Tobey Maguire's 3 Spidey films were marvelous with actors with chemistry and characters you want to relate too. Not Garfield's garbage. Affleck? He is another garbage actor. Nolan will tank this film as producer. )
