The more the minions buy it, the more franchise destructs itself. That's being said.Kristatos wrote:Just looked at the US & Canadian DVD revenue for Craggy's "Bond" films on http://www.the-numbers.com:

http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-new ... haw-201358 It's only a matter of time before Logan writes this into the next script or two for Q the way things are progressing with this current moronic regime.

Last I checked, Skyfall was currently running sixth in DVD sales, ahead of Les Mis, Argo, Django, and Lincoln, among others.

If Whishaw doesn't want to talk about his personal life, I think the press should leave him alone. I've never bought the argument that because someone is in the public eye, that makes it OK to raid their dustbins etc. It sounds like he only came out because the press said to him "either you tell the public or we will".

Actually you're too right about that, Kristatos. Yes, there are many beliefs which I differ with, but I'm never concerned about anyone's life, and I do see the press as society of criminals who get into someone's privacy just to make blood money. It makes you a prisoner, just like in the Patrick McGoohan TV Series, The Prisoner, where you have no privacy, no comfort, nothing at all.Kristatos wrote:If Whishaw doesn't want to talk about his personal life, I think the press should leave him alone. It's pressure from the gay community Kris, not so much from the press. They revel in celebrities "outing" themselves, instead of leaving them alone, like Jim Nabors was left alone for decades after Gomer Pyle. The public could care less about this stuff. It's their OWN that force revelation. Quinto announced he was gay once Star Trek was in the news. Who cares about Quinto? The gay community does. They want the entire world to notice them when most people could care less.

It's six of one, half a dozen of the other. From the Daily Mail story, it sounds like speculation on the intertubes "forced" them to investigate, and his agent confirmed the civil partnership. Whishaw himself is quoted as saying:bjmdds wrote:It's pressure from the gay community Kris, not so much from the press. For me, it’s important to keep a level of anonymity. As an actor, your job is to persuade people that you’re someone else. So if you’re constantly telling people about yourself, I think you’re shooting yourself in the foot.

True but it is way behind Crag I&II , and beating cartoons and being beaten by them isn't the record setting trajectory it should be.Gala Brand wrote:Last I checked, Skyfall was currently running sixth in DVD sales, ahead of Les Mis, Argo, Django, and Lincoln, among others.

I expected it'd set records , it didn't, instead its acting like smaller movie not a billion dollar action movie.

Boston, MA - The first observational study of long-term antihypertensive use and breast-cancer risk found that calcium-channel blockers (CCBs) were associated with a more than twofold increased risk, while ACE inhibitors appeared to be associated with a reduced risk. The new findings are published online August 5, 2013 in JAMA Internal Medicine.
Women who had taken CCBs for 10 years or more had more than double the usual risk for invasive ductal breast carcinoma (IDC) and for invasive lobular breast carcinoma (ILC). The researchers also observed a possible association between long-term use of ACE inhibitors and reduced risks of both IDC and ILC, although the IDC risk estimate was within the limits of chance.
