You do get the feeling Craig was under contract to say something Nice, His delivery as wooden as ever. The lake behind him has more screen presence.

Re: Craig: "I did not like Connery or Brosnan"
I'm sure he was Sincere when he told his last girlfrend he loved her, Doesn't make it true
It's common knowlage he thought Bond was Beneath him, so why should he have any respect for the actors who played a part he doesn't think highly off.
Fair play to him, He obviously feels he doesn't need the Mask any more, he's now so secure in Babs world he can be disrespectful to the past actors, as
(In his mind at least ) they now finally have a great world class actor, who can give the Part all it deserves.
"With One Mighty POUT, Our hero Breaks free"
But those who like him, will always like him and those of us who don't ,will never like him either. and so it goes on.

I visited this board in the years when they first rumoured Craig as Bond and now I am back and glad to see there are still many like minded fans here, not to mention the site has also grown!
Whichever ways in that interview, I still not like Craig as Bond. Bond is a fantasy figure we all wants to be, dream to be but for effing sake, who here wants to be Craig? Honestly, I think and hope we should all petition to get EON to hire another actor to play Bond. But yeah, they won't listen!

Tut-tut-tut Mr Craig. Connery is responsible for the success of this franchise, Craig should pay heed to that.

Re: Craig: "I did not like Connery or Brosnan"
Same with tony stark in ironman, Robert Downeys performance as the character a lot of guys would love to be and who wouldn't want a metal suit of armour and fly around same as bond used to be in the sense that you wanted to use those gadgets, you wanted to beat the evil villain and finally you wanted to be like that guy and get all the sexy women he gets and yeah with craig you don't feel like you want to be that character, the only great self loathing character I really liked was boyd from waking the dead, bond isn't a guy with personal demons he knows what's at risk and vesper at best betrayed him anyway (unlike the woman in ohmss which had a much better love story and you did feel really sorry for bond in that one, in cr it felt hamfisted, cheesy and right out of a comedy sketch show when bond and vesper fell in love, they also had sod all chemistry it only happnened because the script said so, not the acting or emotion), finally for guy who's meant to be the best of his majestys secret service he ain't half done a crap job protecting the people in this world he's meant to save, in fact he's killed a crapload not felt anything and just moved on, if this bond was meant to stop a nuke he'd probably say sod it, kill everyone but leave the nuke active and let it happen since bond is now darker then the bloody dark knight..the d**n joker in the dark knight's more laid back then creggs bond and that's saying something since he's a complete psychopath.Countach wrote:I visited this board in the years when they first rumoured Craig as Bond and now I am back and glad to see there are still many like minded fans here, not to mention the site has also grown!![]()

It would have been preferable to have Vesper's betrayal be the way it was on the book. That movie has not aged well. It's always on cable anymore(along with Quantum Of Awfulness
