It's not the physical ability of breaking through the wall (like you stated - very easy) it was the fact he ran through it. Would any previous Bonds have done that?
Yes. Would you rather do some crazy slim jump over a very closed hole or just break through the d**n wall and get it over with? I thought that part was amusing because the freerunner could have simply done that instead of kept doing some tricky stunts. I don't see what was wrong with breaking through the wall, what should Bond have done? Walk around to find a doorway?
No he should have run around and found a doorway.

This guy is a former Officer in the Royal Navy or have you convieniantly forgot that.
It worked as a quick gag for Mollacka to do the acrobatic thing through the gap, and Bond to crash through the dry wall. It got the required laugh at every screening I saw for Casino Royale. If Brosnan had done it, you'd have loved it.
True to form, your wrong again.

I would not have liked that scene with any Bond. Furthermore, no other Bond would have done that scene.
So you and a hand full of people didn't like the scene...who cares?
Some liked and some didn't. One of the things I find so amusing about this site is the big deal some of you make over the most trivial of subjects.
Daniel Craig as James Bond crashes through a dry wall...thats so un-James Bond...oh and he's too short...and blonde...and ugly. Come the replies.
Get a grip people.
But do please continue, as the comments of members here apparently helped inspire Daniel Craig, so oh so amusingly for me the thing that some of you think will stop his tenure and the boycott ( )is actually helping the guy out. Classic.

Same could be said of your opinion.

Yes James Bond is quite trivial. Although I don't think the po-faced self-appointed Fleming experts who hate 80% of the film series and seem to love Craig would agree
I regarded it as a bit of fun. That is until Daniel Craig came in a approaching Bond like a Strindberg play.

James Bond played by a musclebound Daniel Craig in a skin tight Hawaian shirt running around like John Rambo with the same expression on his face was not my cup of tea. James Bond is supposed to excude a little charm. I thought that was the whole idea of Bond.
Bring back Bond!

You thought wrong. They intended to make the film more believable by grounding it more to the style of From Russia with Love. It still contains many of the fantasy elements such as the girls, the exotic locations, the cars, incredible stunts, evil villian that cries blood, the card game ect. The film is basically a more modern version of From Russia with Love.
CR's definitely not in style with FRWL, not even its "modern version". CR is more likely, as you've said in the beginning, the "Terminator" version of Bond.
This is James Bond, not Tom Clancy.
Tell that to the Brocollis.
I suppose my worst complaint (apart from Craig) was there were only three big action scenes. None of them were particulary great. It was obvious this was a low budget Bond movie. There was a long gap between the second action scene and the climax. The climax is not worth the wait. The film is too long, it has Craig bleeding, falling in love, nearly dying, running around a lot, getting tortured, in swimming trunks, in a tux, in a Hawaian shirt, making mistakes. It's as if the producers were covering themselves saying ' If this does'nt work, this might. They were obviously not confident about Craig.

I actually felt the film appeared big budget and I still did not like the crane scene.
