I find it hard to believe after watching them so recently you still stand by your "Craig riffs Bourne" claim. In fact, I had no idea you even liked the Bourne films. What is your take on them?
I don't like them. In fact, I don't know what the fascination is with them. They are on cable so often now I find myself tuning in to see why Damon did so well in the USA market. I am surprised you don't see the similarity between Eon's muse piece and Greengrass's:the fight scenes, the fast paced tempos, the anti-government themes, the short haired lead actors, the shorter length film time, the car chases, etc.

Kinda like how Dud Another Day seems to be on Spike pretty much every day

So why watch them six times?
The same reason I watched CR a few times on Cinemax. I try to find WHAT the fascination others see with these films, yet I don't see the greatness these others do.

Don't we already have the bjmdds general discussion thread?
Notice you posted your Bond 23 nickname over at Mi6 bj.
Is it just me or did it go down like lead balloon?
In order to succeed you may have to re-think it.
Think of the larger audience. No pun intended.

Actually Nash your delusional account of it is false. Several of your own fellow posters there(British Chap 007,Jetsetter) actually like it. Facts, nothing but the facts.
I am glad you approve Python. Speaking about great achievements, do you think Craig's latest lead role in Defiance will even reach it's $50 million budget cost, not even counting the marketing and advertising costs? IF this also flops, and it is more than on it's way in that direction, he will retain his "perfect record" of failures:Infamous, Golden Compass, Flashbacks of a Fool, Defiance......when does Hollywood get the fact that Craig 'ain't no lead draw'?
You know,I think the fact that even Stocks and Sweeney think BJ's name for Bond 23 is funny, speaks to the fact that despite our differences in opinion, there are some things we all think are funny.
I never said anything complimenting BJ's nickname for Bond 23.
As for Defiance, a film that opened on 1,700 screens and is R-rated to boot isn't going to make much money, regardless of the reviews. Get a clue BJ. Do you really think it's Craig's fault? You think of Hugh Jackman was in that film that it would make more money? He's a popular Bond actor, but sure hasn't proved as a popular actor non-Bond, much like his predecessors other than Connery. But of course you're so deluded you'll ignore that anyway and try to spin it into some kind of apocalyptic nonsense as always because of your odd obsession over everything Craig does.

Foolish statements Stocks. R-rated Sex and The City blew the box office numbers out of site with a small budget to boot(budget =$65 million;gross = $415 million) . I don't see Craig hosting the Oscars, do you? I guess you just ignore the FACT that Jackman has so much more international appeal and charisma as opposed to your hero Craig. In terms of 'spin', I leave that to you and your gang at MI6 that try to 'Obamasize' all things Daniel Craig. I am one person with my opinion yet for some strange reason, you cannot accept that there are plenty of similar minded people out there. Your total exultation of Craig is remarkable. He should appreciate you as a fan.
