The way he's been saying is almost putting down people of different races starting to bug me a little. Its like a black or Asian male or female are inferiors so them playing Bond is a final insult to the series, I'm not ok with it. I get what FBF means most of the time, Craig is the lowest of the Bonds but I still have hope James Bond will return, I don't care if he is black, as long as he can actually be Bond.Kristatos wrote:Omega wrote:Dude, I meant it sounded racist.
I don't think so. If Daniel Craig can be Bond, then anyone can be, regardless of race, gender, age or number of limbs. That's what FBF is getting at.

I wouldn't be surprised if a black actor playing Bond turned out to be the best while DC gets bashed. If Idris replaced DC today, he will make him look like a pussy.Omega wrote:I get what FBF means most of the time, Craig is the lowest of the Bonds but I still have hope James Bond will return, I don't care if he is black, as long as he can actually be Bond.

Christ. If Skawful does win Best Picture, what happens next? Will every Bond film that follows be expected to win an Oscar? How long before they become so pretentious that even the Craigskis start whimpering "Make it stop"?

I thought sherlock was BBCFeinberg explains the chances of the four wild card films:
Based on history, though, they should proceed with caution — especially “Skyfall.” In each of the past three years, the PGA and the Academy have overlapped on all but two or three of their nominees. The discrepancies have almost always involved the PGA siding with big box-office successes from big studios, followed by the Academy replacing them either with other big box-office successes from big studios or, more commonly, smaller-scale critics’ darlings.

It is interesting it was nominated over Dark Knight, but then DKR was in the summer and made notorious by the joker killings. Also I've seen all kinds of ad pushing skyfall on the other movie forums.
I think Django or Life of "3.141592"`will probably win, just cause they are more outsiders then big movies productions.
Zero Dark Thirty is on the list, it has so many people upset the government is going to investigate "who was talking" we know, the white house and other top places, IMO they are acting like this because they want to hassle the seals who talked about the mission to game makers and other story tellers, almost nothing on this is truly classified cause the government from top levels was talking about it because they wanted to brag. It says it all that the Seals and other operators are willing to talk cause they don't, on anything, not like sports teams they do not go off spiking the football or bragging to cheerleaders for the attention. Talking means these guys think somebody screwed them and their family's security.

Hobbit done $242, here and $464 overseas seem to be making a comeback of sorts. They are saying a billion is almost a done deal. Interesting it beat Spyfall by a lot in Australia and Russia

I said(out loud to nobody in particular) "That's some serious James Bond sh!t" and literall right after I said that the guy said pretty much the same thing!

It's the 40th anniversary of Enter The Dragon this year. I bet it tops the hysteria of Bond's 50th in the UK.
EA, will you celebrate the 40th anniversary of the classic Bruce Lee film? Sweeney? FBF?
