In 9 years, let's all meet back here and welcome a new Bond who does not look like Cr-egg. MGW will be in his 80s then.
Forget Bond. He's the thing in the past. The general public will never separate DC's Bond from the classic Bond so there's no point of hoping the traditional tall and dark-haired Bond will come back, and it's a big waste of time to do so. The franchise is TOO corrupt to bring the likes of the first 5 Bonds (Sean, George, Rog, Tim, and Pierce) back. The third virus has broken box office, especially here in the US, and I fear it's going to infect the big American movie awards. Based on global pandemic, send in ethnic actors, freaks/weirdos, robots, and pets to take over as the next James Bond once DC retires and NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

In meantime, The Hobbit is out this Friday, and is there any rebel here going to see it during the opening night? I want to, but I got important things going on this weekend and next week so I need someone to take my place in seeing it 3-4 times this opening weekend.

FBF dude I get you and then I don't.

I think the Hobbit is going to be very big, unless Martin sucks. I think I like him better as Bilbo than I ever like Frodo. Couldn't stand frodo.
“The film, which opens on December 14, is expected to contribute to the first annual box office increase in North America in three years, a sign that big movie studios have made more films enticing enough to get people into theaters and away from their TVs, games and the Internet.”
Will Hobbitmania be back?

I don't like the fact that Martin(Freeman) has been joking(I hope) dissing the U.S. Sherlock Holmes series. Makes him come off like a douche, IMO. :cuss:

Martin does match up perfectly as young Ian Holm, not to mentioned sounding a lot like him.

If a new Bond is released every three years, it will give Craig some more time to age for the next film. If Craig continues to age badly, then perhaps they'll replace him after the next two Bond films. But then again, they could always use that "Craig is in great physical shape" excuse to keep him in the role for the next umpteen years. :x

DC should be replaced by either ethnic actors, freak/weirdos, robots, or pets.

Dude not going to call ethnic actors freaks/weirdos.

Best thing to happen after Craig leaves is for the Real James Bond to return and be bigger than ever. And Skyfall may be a fluke and it could return to where Craig had always been.

CR wasn't exactly a flop. Two out of Craig's 3 films have done remarkably well at both the BO and with the critics. I can see Bond 24 doing very well too, riding on the success of SF.

Bond 25 may drop off if 24 is not very good.

It may be a 50th anniversary deal too. It also could be a inflation deal but they did make a movie people like even tough it is over hyped, I know a plenty in other movie forums who are not thrilled but say it was enjoyable.
CR was not as big a departure from Brosnan as this is from QOS. England giving all their gross nation product to feed the beast is like a shock but almost any Bond movie could do this again in the future. So is the $200 million from us and Canada and $50 to 100 million from china.

Bond 24 depends on where they are taking it, is Bond still beginning?

York, England --- Mypanmar is on his way to the United Kingdom to stand stud duty at Camden stud. He will join the studs Art's Conquest, Pro Bono Best, Yankee Lariat and Stonebridge Galaxy and a host of mares at the farm located at York in the north of England. To the UK crowd here, where is this? I am a huge harness race fan/owner and I never knew they had racing in the UK. Do any of you ever go to see these races?

Ethnic actors and freaks/weirdos are two different people.

Real Bond returning? FORGET IT!!!!!!!! The series is TOO corrupt for the tall and dark-haired Bond to return. I said this before, and I will say it again: the general public will NEVER separate DC's Bond from the classic Bond so DC is technically a classic Bond. Plus, Skyfall will brainwash the high profile American movie awards, making Pierce look like a failed Bond star. If DC's Bond 23 gets recognition from these awards, why not Bond movies starring direct opposites as Bond. If Babs wants a black Bond, let's give it her. And If I want a real Bond, I say put him in a TV format, considering Babs will not gave up her powers. Look at Sherlock Holmes. We got 3 different Sherlocks in active duty: the movie version, (RDJ), and 2 TV versions (one on BBC and one on CBS). But if not Bond on TV, we got other franchises for escapism, and that includes Star Wars. BJ and Saint 007.....you know the rest.

Yes, but not thoroughbreds, standardbred harness races with the sulky carts behind the horses with the drivers in them. I never saw a harness race ran in the UK. Have you ever seen it there? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQt6iFrV2Gg I have loved this sport since I was 8 years old :!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBovp6xz3SU

Well, sort of. From the website Library Index:
Sporting events involving horses have their origins in warfare, hunting, and herding practices, in which fast horses were a necessity. Archaeological records indicate that horse racing occurred in ancient Babylon, Syria, and Egypt. It was an event in the Greek Olympic Games as early as 664 B.C. Selective breeding of horses dates back thousands of years and was practiced by ancient Arabs and Romans.

Organized horse races were the inevitable outcome of human efforts to breed ever-faster horses that performed well in battle. The Romans held chariot races in huge arenas called hippodromes, the most famous of which was the Circus Maximus.

Horse racing with riders became widespread during the Middle Ages, particularly in England. Knights returning from the Crusades brought back fast Arabian stallions that were bred with sturdy English mares to produce a new line of horses called Thoroughbreds. Thoroughbred racing was popular with the aristocrats and royalty of British society, earning it the title "Sport of Kings." Human dependence on the horse during hunting and herding led to the creation of many other competitions in which horses excelled, such as jumping over obstacles or chasing lost cows. Rodeo sports thus were born.

Looks like Ben is not going to be any villain from the previous series. He'll be a new villain.

Is the Hobbit really a $100 million opener as some places are saying? According to FBF people should be flocking to the freaks and weirdos.

I going to go this weekend if I can help it and I normally don't do the first weekend deal. There should be more LOTR fan than Twilight even if the reviews are kind of rotten.
