Is this the official theme song for Bond 23?
Do you really think the official theme song would be revealed on some random dude's blog?

I completed my duty of seeing the Bat's final round 11 times 4 weeks ago. I might see it again if it rereleases in theaters just like the Bat's round two did. The Bat rises while the Arachnid loses its ability to create webs.

Good news FBF. Can it top the last Bat flick in spite of the tragic shooting? The weekend's No. 2 overseas moneymaker was Warner Bros.' "Dark Knight Rises," which added another $15.3 million. It now stands at $519 million overseas. Coupled with its $422.2 million domestic total, its worldwide gross is $941.2 million. "Dark Knight Rises" is holding strongly in several key territories and, since it has yet to open in China (Wednesday) and Ale's Italy (Friday), its chances of hitting the $1 billion mark in worldwide box office look strong. The third film in director Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy dropped just 12 percent in its sixth week in the U.K., taking in $2.1 million over the weekend. Overall it has made $82 million there. It fell just 22 percent in France, taking in $1.8 million, and is up to $32 million there. It also fell 22 percent in Germany, adding a million over the weekend and upping its overall total there to $30 million. It added $960,000 in Australia, where it has brought in $42 million overall.

Dangerous conditions on the Gulf Coast, hope everyone stays safe out there.

Landfall projected for Aug 28th - 29th almost 7 years to the day of Katrina!

Intended to see the 'Bat' flick last night, but missed opening time....so i then decided to see another film and watched 'Expendables 2'.
Wasnt expecting much, but the film turned out to be a really good action flick with plenty of humour and a half decent plot.
The film was directed by Simon West who had previously made Con-Air and the action was very well made......if only QOS had hired a decent action director.

I'll tell you what, from the adverts shown Hollywood seems to be remaking a lot of remakes........i mean 'Total Recall', seems to be literally a word for word remake of the previous film..........and now there's a new 'Judge Dredd' film coming out!

I also saw a cardboard cut-out of DC as Bond in Skyfall in the foyer of the multiplex, but it had fallen down on its side! :)

A lot of good directors could of made a decent Bond movie but the story was until Craig that the actors and directors were kept on tight leash. The Scott brothers, Richard Donner, Brad Bird (from his Incredibles days ), James Cameron,
John McTiernan would be at the top of my list

Premium Rush was tops among the newcomers with a terrible $6.03 million. It's hard to find too many comparisons (bike messenger thrillers aren't exactly common), but none of them are flattering anyway: for example, January dud Man on a Ledge was also a mid-budget New York-set thriller with a recognizable but untested cast, and it debuted to just over $8 million. Distributor Sony Pictures reported that the audience was 55 percent male and 67 percent were 25 years of age and older, and they gave the movie a middling "B" CinemaScore (that at least improved to "A-" among the under-18 crowd. (Don't even think about Gordon-Levitt as any Bat related hero. He would be horrid in such a role.)

ABC Senior Foreign Correspondent Martha Raddatz, whose role as moderator was announced on August 13, was previously married to Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski — an Obama appointee.

Genachowki and Raddatz were married in 1991, the same year he graduated from Harvard Law School. Their marriage ended in 1997; the two have a son together. Raddatz does not report on the FCC for ABC News.

Genachowski and classmate Barack Obama worked together on the Harvard Law Review, Genachowski as notes editor and Obama as the publication’s president. They graduated in the same class.

In 2014, Obamacare mandate: Impose a $2,000 per employee penalty on employers with more than 50 employees who do not offer health insurance to their full-time workers (as amended by the reconciliation bill). How many companies will reduce their employees to under 50 to get around this penalty? This will NOT create jobs :!:

Sorry that was me. In my defence I believed I was about to be mugged by a very shady looking ape-man character, who after all was said and done turned out to be a cardboard cut-out of an ape-man character (Daniel is normally so flat and 2 demonstration how was I to know ). Seeing the sinister looking 4ft 9 man obviously intent on violence all those years of self-defence class kick in, I lamely kick at the cut-out while attempting to slash at it with a Paper Mate(R) InkJoy pen screaming in a shrill voice 'rape!'. As we made our hasty retreat the popcorn intended for pidgins was carelessly strewn throu the lobby to forever remain a stale sad testament to what we have come to call the Battle of the Multiplex. (thank you LOTR RPG)

Some may think there was some small measure of overreaction however you come across a Cro-Magnon throwback clad in a ill fitting suit and you'll freak too
(Yes it's satire ..... disclaimer is in case I've missed my mark :007: )

FBF, the Bat is now in 4th place and only $93,000 from being in second place on Monday........how's that for long legs? Bond 23 will be done as soon as The Hobbit debuts in Australia in October. How can Garfield's Spider-bug pull in $446 million overseas? What are these people thinking? It's still $110 million behind Tobey's overseas.

Samuel L. Jackson is known for his profantiy-laden and erratic style of tweeting, a habit that placed him squarely in the eye of a storm Monday night. Seemingly tweeting off the cuff, the "Pulp Fiction" actor said that it was "unfair" that Hurricane Isaac was avoiding Tampa -- where the Republican National Convention is currently being held -- and might move toward New Orleans.
