It won't be great FBF, trust me. The "Spiderman vs. Godzilla-like" movie advertising machine is all over tv morning shows and commercials. It opens Tuesday. Garfield's face annoys me. I cannot believe this guy was hand picked to play the role, the role that did NOT require fixing. FBF, stay home on this one. Save your hard earned dough. I'd rather watch a remake of King Kong vs. Godzilla from the 1960s. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PBbK8tkTE8 THIS would be a blockbuster :!:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mq9DUjLD ... ure=fvwrel Would you pay to see a remake by Chris Nolan of Commando Cody? FBF, you can attend this convention with MP in California: http://www.creationent.com/cal/gs_los_angeles.html http://www.creationent.com/cal/st_sanfrancisco.html

http://boxofficemojo.com/news/?id=3470&p=.htm The Bat has it's work cut out for it in the USA but I think it can do it. FBF, tickets already bought for TDKR? Is the UK crowd gearing up too for it?

I bought my ticket for the opening night on ETC format at AMC. The IMAX showing are sold out like crazy, but for regular formats on the opening night, the tickets haven't been sold out at my area yet.

FBF, Oscar buzz in sorts for Anna Karenina :!: You were onto something here with Ale. This film has TWO very popular actors going up against the ungulate in Bond 23. If we can push this film on the internet, it could detract some viewers from throwing out their money on DC. "The story is set in late-19th-century Russia, with Knightly playing an aristocrat enters into an affair that scandalizes the country. From the looks of the preview, this production could be an Oscar contender at the very least in categories such as costume design and art direction." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPGLRO3fZnQ Anna.........Anna...........Anna.......go to work FBF......"Breathtaking first trailer for Anna Karenina gives a glimpse of Keira Knightley, Jude Law and Aaron Johnson's sordid love triangle"

October 26-28 in the UK and November 9-11 in the USA, do women take their boyfriends, husbands, and girlfriends to see Bond 23 and this http://cdn03.cdn.justjared.com/wp-conte ... o-call.jpg http://www.facenfacts.com/NewsDetails/2 ... I hope Law's and Knightley's upcoming film stays on the 9th and not get either pushed back or pushed forward. I know it may not pose serious threat to Bond 23, but looking back 10 years ago, Star Trek Nemesis went up against Maid In Manhattan in the US and failed to get the top spot.

I KNEW if well-made this could definitely pose a problem for DC's Bond... sure as hell looks like a very well-made movie. So we'll see. If it gets good buzz, then for sure it's less money for the Bond movie at the box office (not because they have the same kind of public but because people don't go see two movies on the same weekend anymore..they pick one.)

But the question is whether Anna Karenina is going to be rated R or not. Rated R films get beaten by films rated PG-13 or lower when opened on the same weekend.

I think it's going to be beaten by Skyfall no matter what. But I don't see why they would change the release date, as they are not competing for the same audience. They probably chose that release date specifically as counterprogramming, to try and pull in people who wouldn't go and see a Bond film anyway, and who are looking for an alternative.

I knew giving bond heineken was a bad idea, wonder if this scene is supposed to be the title credits, it's got the weird tinge, now all it needs is some happy go lucky music over it whilst bond's getting strangled to death, new title for bond 23: you only drown once or never say heineken again, from heineken with strangles, heineken of solace, tomorrow never drowns, one heinken is not enough, heinekens aren't forever, licensed to heineken, the living heineken bites, heineken another day and the heineken that beeped me.

It won't beat Bond 23 but it could sway about 1 million less tickets purchased with an Oscar buzz alternative and that would translate into $8-10 million less revenue at the box office for DC's flop. Every bit helps, right FBF?
