I was shocked when I read they had cast ANOTHER Bond girl out of the blue and one that has an apparently "steamy" scene with Bond (UGHHHHHHH my eyeeeessss avert thought immediately, I do not want to imagine the Craigster in ANY type of scene like that). Clearly means the girls they ACTUALLY cast as Bond girls and presented aren't working. Or that they replaced Berenice's scenes because she wasn't working well? No idea, but something is up, it's absolutely NOT normal to cast someone out of the blue when you're full tilt in the middle of filming. Beyond bizarre. And not a good sign at all.

I am so discouraged by every single piece of news I see about this movie that I honestly don't know what to say anymore. These people are completely out of their minds. They will TANK the entire franchise at this rate. And by all means I now want this to do badly at the box office because they've gone off a tangent, they won't learn the lesson unless they're hit hard at the box office, unfortunately. It's just pathetic that we have to be reduced to this. Unbelievable.

FBF, Ale is in our camp now hoping AWFUL bombs so SONY gets the message to not only replace Cr-egg, but limit the vegetable's hold on the future films, if any are done. Ale is correct. What film director adds on a character 3/4 of the way into a film's shooting? Is this being rewritten on the fly? Disaster at the box office after weekend one in the USA. Twilight will do it's work just nicely. Yet, Cr-egg keeps squawking about the 'great script' like the talking parrot he is for Eon. Mendes will join angered Foster as another bust director for Bond.

New Bond 23 stills: http://www.metro.co.uk/film/895805-new- ... union-jack http://img.metro.co.uk/i/pix/2012/04/11 ... 66x310.jpg It looks more like Dream House every day and it will be as successful too in terms of profit/loss on the balance sheet. http://img.metro.co.uk/i/pix/2012/04/11 ... 66x653.jpg The great Judi Dench is being killed off as M in the new Bond flick, “Skyfall.” Which means Dame Judi is free to return to the stage, first in London and then, if all goes well, on Broadway in 2013.
London theater sources tell me Dench has signed on to play an aging Alice in Wonderland in a new play by John Logan, who won the Tony in 2010 for “Red,” his drama about painter Mark Rothko. Logan is also writing “Skyfall,” so he and Dench have spent a lot of time together in those glamorous Bond locales — Goa, Istanbul, Shanghai — going over his new play.

The costume designer Jany Temine wants to modernize James Bond while retaining him an old school side (maybe like she did for the third Harry Potter?)

- The movie will film in Scotland, in Shanghai, Turkey AND Macau

- A scene of "crash" would be expected for the sequence of the subway.

- The journalist witnessed the shooting of a scene: the arrival of James Bond in a floating casino in Macao (I think the dragons we saw on the picture of Pinewood come from this set)

- For the scene in the set with the glasses and the neon lights that we saw in the videos and the first official image, the idea is to multiply Bond's reflection. The designer wanted that decor to reflect both the spirit of James Bond and what he saw. And here, Bond must appear as a character back from the dead.

- Sam Mendes promises they never pushed the character in such limits

- The scene of Macau: Bond leaves his hotel room and goes to the casino by boat (he is standing on the boat, dressed in a tuxedo). The boat passes between the two dragon heads and a firework is fired. The scene has a certain gravity and Mendes put a mysterious depth in it. The journalist said that the casino "looks like a kingdom of the dead"
Mendes doesn't say "Bond girl" but "James Bond ladies"

- Jany Temine said that Berenice's character would be a "bad girl" so she wanted to dress her like a "femme fatale". But Berenice does not answer clearly to the question of which side belongs her character (she must be ambiguous, not completely bad)

- Sam Mendes loves Casino Royale and Daniel Craig, because for the first time since Connery, the character of Bond was no longer outside the action and the film wasn't ironic about the hero. He also learned the codes of the series and wants to bring things that has never been seen before.

- Mendes confirms the return of some iconic characters of the saga (so Q is not the only one). He also confirms he wants to bring more humor than in the last two movies. He wants to explore the roots of the MI6, as to make a loop with Dr No (probably for the 50th anniversary)

- And finally, Mendes reveals some thematics of SkyFall: what changed in fifty years? Should the MI6 evolve or stay as it was fifty years ago? Who are the new enemies of the XXI century? Who is Q : an inventor of gadgets that have become increasingly important or a man who invents new ways to kill people?

Ugh the spoilers make it seem even worse. Anyone with good sense will avoid this movie(though someone has to take one for teh team and see it to confirm what we already know: it's sh!t). Not going to be me, though.

Where is the humour? It's the same misery guts Daniel as before.

After QOS one thing was unanimous; change it and bring back the classic 007 elements, it appears they have made QOS again this time fixing what Daniel and Barbara must think the problems were before.
We get pictures of Daniel standing roadside using his ears to signal the RAF while the classic Bond car idles in the background lending gravitas, later to burn in front of Mommy and Daddy's home in the sky to add emotional depth.

Is it for real?

Yes, this is real. It was confirmed by The Daily Sport today. Pete Burns is also going to sing the theme song.

http://i.huffpost.com/gen/565408/thumbs ... rge570.jpg Mendes says he wants humor in this film......oh really? With this face in perpetual scowl? It looks more MIB:3 than Bond. That might be why the trailer will be shown during that release.

Would you rather watch MIB3 than Bond 23?
