How so? This is the same drivel he has been talking up for the last few weeks. What it does demonstrate is how bold Craig's ego is.

"Apparently Craig told producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson that he wanted to be involved in the production process beyond being an actor who walks on set and pretends to be James Bond. They seem to have given him that chance." This is all that matters FBF. This way the 'egg takes blame when it flops. Giving him say over decisions about the production process is equivalent to giving a 3 year old child a fully loaded machine gun to play with. The outcomes of both scenarios would be a disaster. FullOfSky will gross LESS than QOS opening weekend, even with higher ticket prices.

Saw another video with Craig and Mara, Craig looks old a lot older than he did 4 years ago. Mara Roony I think they are starving her she had a weird reaction when they mentioned food.

Dragon Tattoo got two very lukewarm reviews on AIC. One of them said Craig was boring and overshadowed by the leading lady.

The Golden Globes gave a nomination today to the tattoo lady.  The film is not even out yet :!: More chicanery? Best Actress, Drama:
Glenn Close, Albert Nobbs
Viola Davis, The Help
Rooney Mara, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
Meryl Streep, The Iron Lady
Tilda Swinton, We Need to Talk About Kevin
Where's Ms. Bouvier to sort this out?

In the first release of its kind, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is opening exclusively at IMAX and select theaters this weekend ahead of its nationwide debut on Wednesday. Directed by Brad Bird (The Incredibles, Ratatouille), the movie has roughly 30 minutes of footage in the IMAX format, including a heavily-promoted sequence that finds star Tom Cruise scaling the tallest building in the world (the Burj Khalifa in Dubai). It's pretty clear that the entire IMAX strategy is meant to reinvigorate a franchise that took a big hit with its last entry: Mission: Impossible III opened to $47.7 million before finishing with $134 million back in May 2006, which was way off from Mission: Impossible II's $215.4 million. Aside from the addition of IMAX, the movie appears to hew closely to the previous entries, with the "mission goes wrong, blame is placed on Ethan Hunt" plot being oddly reminiscent of the first Mission: Impossible.
I will see it next weekend. Anyone else going?

I'm going to this Bond movie....in IMAX. Interestingly, the prologue of the next Bond movie (The Dark Knight Rises) is said to be shown in IMAX before the showing of MI4.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp ... 8#45696768 The transvestite himself was on The Today show this morning. Another STELLAR interview. This guy could make the Gringots goblins look exciting :!: He has zero stage presence and Amy Pascal backed him in this Tattoo trash. She does not get it either. Take notice of the people outside behind him waving "bye-bye" to his career.

With all the hype, I thought The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was out this weekend, but it's actually next weekend. Box Office Mojo is forecasting $165 million US/Canada box office, compared to $183 million (inflation-adjusted) for Fincher's Se7en. If it performs significantly below that, and Skyfall is a success, it'll be time to send in Carrot Top (whatever that means).

I'll go and see MI4 when it comes to the UK.

Maybe surprisingly, but so far i thought MI3 was pretty good.

MI2 was a bit over the top....and i could never understand why Jim Phelps was made the bad guy in the original MI.

I thought rather than play a new character, Cruise should of played a slightly younger Jim Phelps.

Agree EA. You know your Phelps onions. VERY poor storyline with Phelps being the bad guy. He killed his wife but let Ethan live at end? Phelps is a good guy. Major mistake and it cost them, just like Cr-egg being Bond again.

Cost them how? The film made over $800 million worldwide (inflation adjusted) and spawned three sequels.
