Craig is ridiculously out of touch if he thinks he can keep making dud non-Bond films and not lose a) respect and b) money.

TMZ has learned ... Chaz Bono will be hitting the hardwood on the new season of "Dancing with the Stars." I bet America cannot wait to see this? Who was the unfortunate pro paired with her/him? http://i.huffpost.com/gen/338768/thumbs ... rge570.jpg

"As it's over a month away at this point, the hardest weekend to predict is the last one in September. With its psychological thriller aspects, Dream House seems like the safest bet out of the entire group. Universal hasn't mounted much of a campaign so far, though, and star Daniel Craig's drawing power is highly questionable following Cowboys & Aliens's poor performance. Dream House gets a pass if it ends up in the same area as similar movies like Gothika ($59.7 million) and The Forgotten ($67.1 million)." http://boxofficemojo.com/image2/dreamho ... _00014.jpg "Cr-Aliens" is GONE from the charts, wiped clean, by the wrath of the public. http://boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/

I just don't see Dream House being a hit..reshoots..not much of a campaign..the plot/twist practically given away in the trailer....

'C&A' seems to be doing worse than the 'Green Lantern' worldwide, which is a surprise since it contains two well known stars.

Getting back to Bond 23, and i know that it has been mentioned in the past, but as we havnt heard any news, do members here think that their is a possibility that the film could be made in 3D?
I mention this as there seems to be a plethora of 3D films lately.

Mind you some of you find it hard to see DC in 2D never mind 3D. :D

I saw yesterday' Final Desination 5', which was made in 3D, and though it was obvious what to expect from the film, the 3D aspect of it was superb.
It certainly would put anyone thinking of having laser eye surgery, off ever having it done. :)

'BJ' has that storm reached NJ yet?

Storm done by noon. I had some water leaks on my roof but over all, flooding was more the problem than winds in NYC 5 boroughs. They oversold the wind danger. Thankfully.

Oh god the ads for that makes me cringe. Add to that, my dad is having one of his eyes operated on in a few weeks(cataracts).. makes me more than a little nervous.

On that a.n.other Bond site, there are reports from Germany that 'Jarvier Bardem' has got a role as a villian in Bond 23.
We already knew Bardem had been approached, sometime ago!
Apparently the German media say they got the news from Sony, though Sony themselves havnt confirmed this yet.

I hope this turns out to be true, as i think 'Bardem' could be a very good villian for a Bond film........based on his villianous role in the film

A movie place had a lead that said the title is "Carte Blanche"

Where does Jeffery Deaver line up to sue them?

Bardem could be good as a villain at this point I am sick of hearing rumors about rumors and how great and nuanced Bardem is supposed to be. I After Dark Tower went away I figured he might take up Bond 23.

It could be. Or, more likely, it could be just another bulls**t rumour, like all the others.

Cowboys & Aliens doubled its territory count but still failed to gain any momentum, earning $14.1 million from 43 markets. It debuted to $3.2 million in France, $1.8 million in Mexico and $1.6 million in Germany, none of which were compelling figures. So far, the genre mashup has made just $35.5 million overseas, and, even with openings in Brazil, Italy, Japan and Spain to look forward to, it's still probably going to struggle to reach $100 million.
Finally, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 continued its remarkable run with $9.4 million for an overseas total of $924.6 million. It's worldwide figure reached $1.295 billion, and it should pass $1.3 billion by next weekend. FBF, you wanted $1.3 billion and you will get it!

Is it possible the finale would reach $1.4 billion?

I hope the DVDs release a week before Christmas.

Even though the finale is currently the 3rd highest grossing movie, it still hurts that it dropped that hard a week after opening weekend. I was hoping it would beat SS's worldwide adjusted figures, especially here in the US.
