Potter actually finished 4th this weekend, on Sunday, ahead of Captain America and right behind the cowboy caper. Look for Potter's legs to stretch out more next weekend by finishing ahead of the Cr-egg rotten egg. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 held better than the previous July Potters, Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince, for the first time. Slowing 43 percent, Harry's last stand generated $12.4 million for a whopping $343.1 million tally in 24 days, and it will surpass Transformers: Dark of the Moon by Tuesday at the latest to become the top-grossing movie from 2011.

What a shame, Captain America deserves better. To be frank it beats all of the Potter movies for me, with the exception being Prisoner of Azkaban.

Then of course the Bond movies added totally different elements, but it's undeniable that certain scenes from North by Northwest have provided Bond with material.
Didn't Fleming himself say that NBNW was his idea of what a Bond film should be like, back before DN had actually been made?
I think he did. Fleming wanting Cary Grant to be Bond as well right?
Cubby wanted Cary Grant but he knew he would only sign up for one film. It was David Niven that Fleming thought would make a good on-screen Bond and of course everyone knows he was not a fan of Connery until actually seeing his performance.

As for Catwoman... Where are the ears? I thought after The Joker and Two-Face that Nolan was loosening up on his more grounded depiction.
It was Fleming who wanted Cary Grant in the first place, and he said so. David Niven was one of the other choices, but Fleming's first choice for Bond was Cary Grant. (Fleming's, Cubby obviously did what Fleming wanted). The reason why Sean Connery was then picked is that Cary Grant refused the offer because he believed he was too old to take on the role. (thankfully at least back in the day the actors had enough professional integrity and dignity to turn down money when they believed they wouldn't be at their absolute best for a role. So UNLIKE now). Cary Grant is my biggest actor love so trust me, I know my facts when it comes to him. I think he was right believing he was too old, but as far as looks, moves and all the rest he of course was the perfect embodiment of Bond. The one thing that will always piss me off is him turning down "Sabrina" though. Remains my favorite all-time movie but when I think I could have had Cary Grant perfection instead of sour Humphrey Bogart who made Audrey Hepburn miserable for the whole movie, I just shudder.
What we get from Craig everytime he talks about it is a litany of things that "Bond Can Not Be", No humor, no gadgets, no fun, no to anything that made Bond work for 40 years. The problem with the current series is Craig is calling to many of the shots. Where the f**k are the producers?
Fawning over him.

He is on contract for four films after Casino Royale (5 Total films), this being his third. He is definitely on board for Bond 23, despite rumors that he would walk and be replaced, and has voiced his enthusiasm for the role.
Is that true? As far as I know he only got the usual contract: Three films with an optional fourth, which has been the typical Bond contract since Roger Moore's tenure (with Dalton's having been expired).
According to IMDB it is. His contract was finalized during his 'me Tarzan you Jane' relationship with the green vegetable. She should now plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter of her father's franchise. November 2012 takes on new meaning now. It had better be it for BOTH DC as Bond AND Oh-bama as US President for BOTH have been disastrous in their respective roles! FBF, go to work on both causes!

Craig's contract is three films. He has a three-film contract, that's how it always was, I have no idea why some are reporting otherwise (not that IMDB is a reliable source in the slightest, it's good only for casting news as in "so and so has booked a two-episode arc with such and such series". That's it.). And I do think he's gone after Bond 23 regardless of the possible option for a fourth one (that's unclear since there are contrasting reports on the "option", and according to those close to him he anyway always wanted to do three Bond movies tops.) I don't think Bond 23 will do sensationally well at the box office anyway, so I would hope that after Bond 23 we're finally free and we can focus on a new and APPROPRIATE actor for the part.

.....clear up the rumour and get an OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION from Bond himself, on Naomie Harris's rumoured role as Moneypenny. Which the actor himself confirmed she is the Bond girl and certainly not Moneypenny, well at least what he is aware of.

UPDATE
Naomie Harris is NOT Moneypenny .............. Is this true? I hope so.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIeMYPfnST0 Opening weekend this rubbish won't go over $20 million here in the USA. What kind of trash acting is this guy involved with and why is he still being given any lead roles? Will be at DVD quick and there won't be any demand. Dream House looks more like a Nightmare! "Daniel Craig is coming as Will Atenton in upcoming multi-million dollar movie named ‘Dream House’. Total estimated budget of Dream House is $55,000,000. Brad Pitt and Christian Bale were considered for the role of Will but finally Daniel Craig got the role. Jim Sheridan is the director of Dream House and David Loucka is the screenplay writer. Production Companies of movie are Cliffjack Motion Pictures and Morgan Creek Productions.
Dream House Star Cast and Crew
Daniel Craig is famous name in Hollywood and he is playing leading role in the movie along with Naomi Watts. Other stars of Dream House include Rachel Weisz, Marton Csokas, Claire Geare, Taylor Geare, Rachel G Fox, Mark Wilson, Jaonathan Potts, Lynne Griffin, Elias Koteas, Gregory Smith, Yulia Lukin, Jane Alexander and Sarah Gadon."

Bond 23 will not get even nominated for an oscar Because like QOS, they may have a good director But his skill doesn't lie in action/thrillers so just like Marc Forester stand by for a very inconsistent Movie. As for Acting Oscars Craig had his Best chance at the BAFTA's he ain't getting an Oscar.

Even a single Oscar nomination in the technical area for Bond 23 would be an insult not only to Pierce but also to the entire pop culture.

http://movies.msn.com/paralleluniverse/ ... ?gt1=28101 The Dark Knight Rises will not do the numbers that the prior film did and Ledger's death added a LOT to the box office take, do not think it was all storyline. It looks like the Catwoman role just does not sell like the other villains do in the Batman comics.

The next Batfilm is the conclusion of the Begins Battrilogy so would it be bigger than the last one, perhaps slightly?

 exactly.

I have no idea what they're actually cooking up since there's zero on that, but I really don't think any of it will be anywhere near Academy Award material.

I've been seeing the first photos from the set of Man of Steel today AND a video too of Costner, Diane Lane and Cavill filming a tornado scene.. I'd share except it's not on a public page so no point :( looks like they're doing a GREAT job with the Kent farm too (lots of photos of the set and what they're building.. it is MASSIVE  they're building all of Smallville, shops etc included, in this area near one of Chicago's airports).

These are the set photos (the page is public so I assume anyone who has facebook can see)

If Cavill or someone else traditional in the likes of Sean or Pierce takes on as the 7th Bond, Fat Seagal should become the next unofficial Bond in The Asylum produced Bond movie that shall capitalize on the new Bond 21 starring the traditional 7th 007.

Catwoman was not a draw in 1992 nor with Halle Berry as solo. The Riddler is his main nemesis and Carey screwed it up so I was hoping for a great Riddler and not a boring cat and a steroidal Cr-egg thug as the main villains.
