I hope I didn't bother you with that dental question. Since we work talking about reasons behind forum names I thought I'd ask. I know DDS means "Doctor of Dental Surgery", but it could have some other meaning entirely. Just disregard the question if you don't feel comfortable answering.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Well, I won't push it further if that's as good an answer as you are prepared to write. I do suspect them of being in with Ian Fleming Publications, for what it's worth, but I'm not prepared to say everyone knows this for a fact or that many people are aware. If you're going to allege something you should come good on it. Having lurked there for a few years I haven't seen much of what you assert and as you can't properly assert it, there's no point taking you on trust I'm afraid. You might well suspect it and it's probably a reasonable assmption given their conduct in shutting threads down but unless you can identify specifics it's as reasonable an assumption to assert that it's all one person or they are all Russian. Did you fall out with them in some way (in your defence, this is quite easy to do).Alessandra wrote:I'm not about to publicly expose names of people. They know who they are. It's not my place to say names and I never would in a forum anyway. Many people are aware who the people in question are anyway.
BJ - Jim's just being his usual smart-ass self - I think he's suggesting that your reappearance keeps him young and you're going through the routines you went through in October 2005. That's probably not very well explained, but it's as good an observation as the comment merits.
Well that's true but this has been going for five years or so and CBn ten or so? Pretty sure that five years ago CBn (and MI6 and AJB etc) had wider discussions on all aspects of Bond than this one does. This is a shame as this does appear to have open discussion but it's open discussion about a pretty negative idea. You might want to consider changing the name of the forum and website (but keeping its stance) to attract wider Bond fans rather than Craig dislikers; I mean, I don't much like the Craig films but having now put that on record, I'm not sre there is much more for me here, unless I toe the evident party line and keep on writing that and becoming ever more infuriated and pointless, which seems like a bit of a waste of time. There is an entire section of the forum dedicated to the books here, I think you may not have seen it. There are sub-forums. Also, CBn has been up for way longer than this site, so clearly they have had time to have already covered more topics. And, this forum is about Daniel Craig not being Bond, for those who don't actually enjoy him as Bond, so obviously the discussions revolve around that subject. Doesn't mean it is everyone's cup of tea, but it's what the site is about

Nope, nobody needs EON's permission to post anything on here.La Viande Rose wrote:If you look at CBn (if you can bring yourself to do it) there really aren't any film stills or anything on there. There are much more on here - is this place Eon authorised?

The "some treat" I posted photo of were Krapfen, a type of brioche that is made in Austria/Germany and is very popular in Italy, too. Apricot jam filling. And I had literally just made them (they were still warm) when I took the photo! Should I send over the next batch, BJ?
Now the question is... BJ never watched Alias, not that I know of. So my dear, as good as you have been finding the answer, if this is a google result then it is NO FAIR!
Viande Rose: people who are familiar with the matter know about the people at CBn, I DO know the names involved and exactly what they do for EON and I'm most certainly not the only one. I also know about a thing called privacy and I will never, EVER expose names of people publicly on a forum, the end. Some people don't have decency, but I do. I said more than enough about the matter, for those familiar with it, they know what I'm talking about, and for those who aren't, well too bad. I feel at home here and I know people understand when I am referring to specific topics, so I don't need to explain every statement. I am certainly not the type to go around and just say things random. Whether you "trust" me or not is not an issue for me, if you do then fine, if you don't fine anyway, you don't know me and I don't know you so there's no problem. Again, there are many people who know what I'm talking about so it's not like this is an out-of-the-blue statement that's never been made before. In Italian we say "you can name the sin, but not the sinner". And no, I didn't have any particular fall-out with the CBn people, other than the fact a couple of the mods bullied me because I didn't like Craig, but there were also other mods who were nice. I stopped posting because it indeed became CommanderPravda.net and that was it. I did find some people there who were nice to interact with and of whom I have fond memories. Again, this matter about some of them being involved with EON is most certainly not a secret. The fact you're not familiar with the matter doesn't mean it is untrue or least of all that I'm just saying things random.
We have good discussions about the Bond movies and about many aspects of Bond from novels to music to Bond girls, sorry if you don't find those satisfactory. And 5 years more on a forum allow people to immensely expand on the number of topics. Stay assured CBn didn't start out the way it looks now, that's for sure. CBn has been around for twice the time as this forum, that's a lot more time. And again the theme of this forum IS Daniel Craig Is Not Bond... so if you don't like the theme to begin with, of course it would be pointless to stick around in the first place.
I completely disagree that people should name names... not in this case and not EVER publicly on the internet.
LOL! BJ, Nobody knows Lidia here, and nobody knows her either. I've read the list of things she has been in.. she was one of the many dancers on SUPER CHEESY National TV programs in primetime... MAAAAANY years ago. Unsure I would even recognise her if I looked since she wasn't a first dancer but just what we call a "line dancer". So uhm... I don't see whatever competence she has about food and drinks :O She may just be one of those Italians who know their stuff about food though I guess.http://www.brindiamotv.com/brindiamo_go ... ut_Me.html Alessandra, do people in Italy know her? FBF that Sadowitz photo ruined my hairstyle! It frightened me
Now on a more serious note... Japan situation is just terrifying and horrible. The number of deaths went up exponentially, those poor people. Not to mention all the damage those who survived will have to deal with. And we're all now just praying that nuclear plants are kept under control, if it got out of hand that would be an utter tragedy not just for Japan, but for a much bigger number of countries/areas.

Exactly. People are nice here, but expect to debate your position. This forum is not like CommanderPravda.net or MIsinformation6.co.uk. You won't be shut down for your opinions. I can understand that Alessandra. What reasonable person would want to continue getting pummeled? That brings me to this "Capsule in Space" character. That maniac hasn't stopped posting, and I am here to report that after three days he's managed to earn a reputation of -43 at CommanderPravda.net. It all started with this first post of Cap's commenting on the Danielle Craig PSA fiasco:Alessandra wrote: I stopped posting because it indeed became CommanderPravda.net and that was it. I guess nothing helps women more than having the pawn of Barbara Broccoli (multi-millionaire, film franchise heiress) wearing a dress and looking like Ann Coulter."
Since then there has been a uproar. Of course BJ has been pounced on, and Captain Flandry as well. Now Capsule in Space is in a heated discussion about the poor numbers that QOS produced, and of course this has all the EONites and Craigskis in a tizzy. Capsule in Space is doing his best Mazer R. imitation to take on these detractors, but come on, there is only one Mazer R.!
It appears that for the time being that Capsule in Space will continue to support his fellow DCinBers in other forums. That's the report from the enemy front.
