Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I knew someone who loved Sweet Home Alabama. She had never been to Alabama didn't know anyone from there but liked the story. Which wasn't bad.
Social Network was boring, I'd much rather a movie about the Social Networking that is happening in Egypt right now. Privileged students setting up a website, even a famous one. Then suing and screwing each other out of it is a waste of time.

Well I have an answer to this that you won't expect. I couldn't care LESS about Valentine's Day, and I never have my ENTIRE LIFE. And, it d**n better be Craig and everybody else sending me cards... because IT IS MY BIRTHDAY!English Agent wrote:I've just realised its Valentine's day today.......what i want to know is did the ladies hear remember to send Craig a card with love and kisses?

Just reading on another Bond site (oops), that apparently Sharon Stone has shown a desire to be in Bond 23 as a bad girl.
What do people think of that here, in regards to:-
1/ the story being true
2/ would she be an asset to a Bond film in such a role just as Famke Janssen (my girlfriend...dream on EA
) was as Xenia Onatopp in GE.

Just another side issue............i've noticed some people here comment on Steven Seagal.
Well i've just been watching a programme about him on UK TV, where a British reporter visited his home with all its Japanese trappings.
Well Seagal has certainly put on a lot of weight...........he could pass for some sort of sumo wrestler!

LOL Fat Seagal is one of our favorite subjects here! Because he's so fat and such a lousy actor!
Uh, Sharon Stone? I don't think that's even remotely true. But if it was, she'd certainly be more threatening than Mads Mikkelsen as Le Chiffre, that's for sure. Doubt she'd be even remotely as good as Famke Janssen. Not same physique and she's way too old now to kick ass. But she can still be a good villain if she pulls it together. I still think there are FAR better alternatives... what are we doing, Bond goes 50 and suddenly gets aged Bond girls? LOL

ZuZu is enjoying Chicago so I don't where that will leave us, but we will see. As Julie Warner says in Doc Hollywood, another of my favorite films to watch, "peel an onion. There's lots of layers". Normally I don't go for those types of films but that particular one I like. Kate Beckinsale is nice too. A Bond girl?Kristatos wrote:Never figured you for the romcom typebjmdds wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsjR5P3TuWY I just watched my personal all-time favorite romantic comedy, on a cable tv channel, for the umpteenth time. A happy ending when fate brings two people together at that spontaneous millisecond of time in the history of this universe. THIS is my kind of happy film.By the way, welcome home Sweeney! Back IN the UK you are.
ZuZu Petals obviously has you well domesticated. For most guys, sitting through romcoms is just the price you have to pay for keeping your significant other happy.

There is an ancient Italian proverb that says: THOSE BORN ON VALENTINE'S DAY WILL HAVE THEIR FAVORITE ACTOR PORTRAY JAMES BOND! Let's hope it comes true and you feel better and enjoy a very happy birthday.Ale wrote:Well I have an answer to this that you won't expect. Grammy's last night proved Lady Gag-gag is nothing more than a Madonna clone. There was basically no difference in her sound/look to Madonna. I think the public might be tiring of her 'self proclaimed' mastering of the art of fame while she drinks alcohol and smokes pot and wears underwear during her interviews. She actually refers to herself as a superstar. Her ego is writing checks she cannot cash ala Maverick in Top Gun. Mick Jagger showed them all how to do it. The album of the year went to a band few people even know and their performance was abysmal. That probably makes them Eon material.

Yes, but most of her fans probably weren't even born when Madge was at the height of her musical career.bjmdds wrote:Grammy's last night proved Lady Gag-gag is nothing more than a Madonna clone. There was basically no difference in her sound/look to Madonna.
