Star Wars 8 plot spoiler, for those so inclined: Here’s the full text of the Episode 8 rumor (originally uncovered by Making Star Wars):

“First of all, Luke is not Rey's father. If you really can't let go of this, watch Episode VII again and pay attention. He is not revealed to be her father in Episode VIII, nor will he be in Episode IX.

The second, and more exciting one, is that Leia uses the Force in Episode VIII. It's unfortunately true that they've minimized her screen time by writing her out after an attack early on, but the really cool thing about the sequence is that Leia survives only because she uses the Force. That's all the detail you're getting, but it's a fact. This would seem to verify earlier plot leaks that suggested General Leia would have a reduced role in the plot of Star Wars: Episode 8 , with Laura Dern’s character largely supplanting Leia’s military role after she’s injured in an attack. Dude, why don't you save the spoilers postings for upcoming Fat Seagal films? All of us here prefer to wait for the excitement and surprises of Episode 8.

It's for those who prefer inside information. If you choose not to know, don't open it. Just concentrate on a new Bond or a new Brosnan/Seagal collaboration.

But you know what happens in a Seagal movie - he kills the villain in the end. Also the plots in Seagal movies do not make any sense as the producers are cobbling together the movies and realise viewers are not bothered.

As for the new Bond, he may as well be bald.

As a traditionalist myself, I would NOT want Aidan of any other traditional types to work with that psychotic dictator.

And as for Brosnan/Seagal collaboration, any upcoming EX films is the closest we can get to that.

Aidan Turner as James Bond would be fantastic so fingers crossed this will happen

Ferdinand Goape • 2 hours ago
It would be bloody fantastic if he gets the part. He oozes "James Bond" vibes straight up!

The first time I saw Aidan in Poldark, I thought: "There's the new Bond" - and said as much! Love this man, even though (sadly!) I'm old enough to be his mother!! :-)

Gina • 18 hours ago
He would be perfect. Fabulous acting, drop dead good looks and bring some much needed sex appeal and charm to the role, that has been so sorely missing. Oh he can still hulk around, but he can be handsome and charming while doing it ;)

My thoughts exactly, Gina! Image

Forbes.com: Mark Hughes: With Sony’s distribution deal ended, the James Bond franchise has been on the auction block amid a studio bidding war to secure the rights to the blockbuster series. Director Sam Mendes and lead actor Daniel Craig have resigned from the franchise, so with a new distributor will also come an entirely new creative team. While it’s too soon to declare any winners, and while the rights appear to still be up for grabs by any of a number of suitors — Sony, Fox, and Paramount for example are among the studios still eagerly seeking a deal with MGM and Danjaq — my own guess is that the secret agent film series will eventually head to Warner Bros. with filmmaker Christopher Nolan likely sitting in the director’s chair. If I were going to rank the studios in order of likeliness to win the rights to Bond, I think I’d say Warner is followed by Fox, and Universal is a very close third. Paramount probably takes fourth place, followed by Sony. I am guessing Disney isn’t staying in the running, although it’s admittedly a risk to assume Disney would sit things out.

It doesn't really fit Disney's image, though. Marvel and Lucasfilm I can understand, but EON?

it's one of the biggest movie franchisees out there so it'd be tempting for Disney but they are prudes. They could not have made foxs Deadpool and they couldn't handle John carter , them even distributing bond is unthinkable.
If they did it would be so pg and toned down.

Weird Christopher Nolan is back as a rumored director. There was that talks before skyfall he wanted to make a bond trilogy

His tantrum will continue until Barbara Broccoli is fired. Which, let's face it, isn't going to happen in the foreseeable future.

As long as Babs is around, I'm not interested in the franchise anymore. I will confess that Nolan/Turner team-up is logical.

Suspected Islamic extremist shoots dead at least 50 at Florida gay club after bursting in 'wearing a suicide vest' and taking hostages - injuring a further 53 - before he is killed in shootout
Suspected Islamic extremist opened fire inside Pulse gay club in Orlando in the early hours of this morning
Law enforcement sources have identified the shooter as US citizen Omar Mateen, from Port St. Lucie in Florida. Both of Mateen’s parents are originally from Afghanistan, according to CBS News.
He shot more than 40 people - killing about 20 - and took party-goers hostage before being killed by police
Shooter, believed to be in his 20s, was carrying a suspicious device, possibly a suicide vest, when he attacked
Police used an explosive device to distract the gunman and rescue around 30 people who had been taken hostage
Police engaged in gunfire with the man and an officer was shot in the head, but he was saved by his helmet
FBI says gunman may have 'leanings to radical Islamic terrorism' and it is being investigated as 'an act of terrorism'.

Nolan tends to use the same people over and over again. He'll probably want Christian Bale as Bond, Sir Michael Bladdy Caine as M and Ken Watanabe as Q.

He'll also probably go for the look and feel of his Batman movies. Since Mendes so blatantly copied them I wouldn't like that yet again.
