Currently on the Horror Channel, Bernard Lee in Dr Terror's House of Horrors, also starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Alan Freeman, Kenny Lynch and Roy Castle! Possibly the most bizarre cast list for a movie ever.

WB is worried, they are pre-selling extended edition of the film now. usually happens after its out of theaters.

And I usually buy, only real disappointment was xmen days of future past rogue edition. Few cool scenes but it sucked over all. It only proved how Unnecessary rogue was to the story because it was better without her.

I'm sure someone is ordering it now hoping against hope there is a cut of BvS that does not suck.

At least they didn't refuse to show it to the media. That's a sure sign that a studio knows it's got a turkey on its hands.

True but the reviews didn't start until the week of release and most the day of. They don't have the luck of EON to have the media of the U.K. As a cheering section skewing the first perceptions.

Warner's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice grossed $12.18 million on Tuesday to lead the daily box office for a fifth consecutive day. However, the blockbuster 3D superhero film starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill was down a concerning 19 percent from Monday's performance. Yesterday's hold could be a sign of poor critical reviews and mixed word of mouth starting to kick in more now. In comparison, last year's Furious 7 was down just 5 percent on its first Tuesday to gross $13.31 million.

WOW, a "creative alliance" with a friend of yours on a network no one will watch, one of 12 executive producers on a B level film about forbidden love, (That has Babzy written all over it!) from 2014 no less, "involvement in a number of stage projects", (yeah so are the kids who put on the spring pageant at elementary school) That Snowden biopic which has gone nowhere, and if it does, who's going to care anymore, that iron was hot about 3 years ago, and "involvement" in a remake of a 1957 horror film! Yeah EON you're keeping really busy, if you didn't have Bond, you'd be reduced to You Tube videos by now!

Interesting backlash to BVS is a lot of people are complaining nobody should have to pay to see such a horrible movie. Be interesting if the idea caught hold, make studios responsible for their product/claims/false advertising.

4:43PM UPDATE: Warner Bros.’ Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has the weekend all to itself, as the other major studios held back on wide entries. BvS’ second weekend is now projected to be $58M-$60M. BvS’ second domestic frame decline is between -64% and -65%.

Variety or maybe deadline says BvS is $55-57 range.
So much of our culture goes into supporting these movies, we've been conditioned to accept bad movies we pay for with our hard earned money as part of life. Just how it is.

Hollywood sells us an idea the movies often don't live up to, then promote it with lies and clever tricks. They use inflated number to claim number one to help drive more views but never will admit the real numbers sold are less than the movie they claimed to beat.

A big movie in America only maybe 10% of the total population go to see it, exceptions are avatar, new Star Wars. But the news coverage is soo lopsided.
As a people we expect to support the entertainment industry and have no say in good or bad. Rare exceptions are movies and shows failing out right but I can name dozens of good movies and shows that were axed for no good reason.

BVS is so bad or not as good as it should be depending how the person reviewing feels, but there are fan boys out there running interference for these huge conglomerations, it is David fighting for Goliath never real seeing how he's being used.

My other point is the number of people who buy tickets to these movie worldwide at the most for a huge movie do not amount to 5% of total population, does the entertainment industry really deserve all the attention we give it?

Deadline:5TH WRITE THRU SATURDAY 8AM: Well, the poor reviews and mixed word of mouth are finally taking their toll on the second weekend ticket sales for Warner Bros.’ Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This morning, BvS woke up from a hangover to learn that they’re on their way to a -70% weekend drop of $50.7M. That fall off is one of the steepest for a superhero film, notching out the -69% posted by 20th Century Fox’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine. All this despite the fact that Bruce and Clark have the Friday-Sunday period all to themselves, without any new wide threats from the other majors plus the added benefit of 30% K-12 schools off, and another 9% colleges on break, per ComScore. The second Friday till for BvS of $15.3M, down 81%, looks like a collapse because it’s compared to last Friday’s $81.55M which includes $27.7M previews. Even if you back those previews out ($53.85M), BvS’ Friday-to-Friday decline is still big at 72%.............BoxOffice.com is projecting a sophomore weekend tally around $48.5 million....BOM: Saturday AM Update: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice takes a massive tumble compared to its opening day last weekend with an estimated $15.35 million Friday. That's an 81% drop from its opening day last Friday, which did include $27.7 million from Thursday previews, but even excluding those numbers you're looking at a 71.5% drop. Rival studios peg the film's second weekend dropping as much as 70%, resulting in a three day weekend around $50 million. Meanwhile, internationally the film brought in $19.2 million on Friday, bringing its international cume to $363.4 million for a worldwide total of $587.8 million.......(just as we predicted here before it even opened.)
