Well yeah when someone who looks the role takes part, she could also play an evil femme fatale pretty well too (good or bad as long as she's in it :happy spin:  ).

Dalton Toothpaste: Yeah that speech was brilliant, Capaldi really carried himself with that speech, I hope he will stay on doctor who for a long time to come.
I thought the same with Smith (after being initially sceptical of his casting, it was during 'Victory Of The Daleks' where I came to the conclusion that Moffat made the right choice). Capaldi lookw to be enjoying himself, and he doesn't look in any rush to be moving on.

Or, she could be another 00. As its a lady , how all the curves 008?

Could be an idea seeing Bond mixing it up in a film with a female 00. A sort of update / nod to TSWLM.

I moved BJ's most recent post to the SPECTRE box office thread, as that seemed like a more suitable place for it.

Sony and MGM report that Spectre bagged "$7.9" million on Veterans Day Wednesday, bringing its six-day domestic total to $90.96 million. That puts the 24th installment of the James Bond franchise 21 percent behind the pace of 2012's Skyfall and 15 percent ahead of 2008's Quantum of Solace.

Fox and Blue Sky's The Peanuts Movie posted "$7.8" million in a close second place yesterday, giving it a healthy $56.8 million total since opening last Friday. That puts the well-received pic just 3 percent off the pace of Wreck-It Ralph................Peanuts is ALREADY even with Broccoli's trash after only 6 days :!: :!: :!: :!: :happy spin:

Got a new Box Office game for Spectre. We didn't do a opening weekend game like we did for Skyfall so we are doing a Box Office total as of January 1st 2016, extra points for being right about the final total. My signature has the players estimates, if anyone wants to play check out the SP BO thread or PM me. :007:

And Frosty The Snowman and all the others...I saw the Charlie Brown Christmas album on vinyl-vinyl! at Barnes & Noble today. If that isn't nostalgia, I don't know what is!

Even though I live in sunny Southern California, we have two skating rinks(one at a mall and the other at the Hotel Del which is literally steps from the ocean-yep, google it!) that go up around the end of November until the start of the year.

They have the weekend down 50% by estimate. Last week their initial totals were higher than the actuals. We will see what the TRUE total is tomorrow. Spectre:
Overseas Weekend: $152.6M
Overseas Total: $413.1M
Global Total: $543.8M -----China: Biggest opening weekend of all-time for imported 2D Film ($48.2M)-------Next weekend we'll see the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 into 4,000+ theaters. The Hunger Games finale will be looking to top the $121.8 million opening Part 1 brought in just last year.

It's now been out 3 weeks overseas and 2 weekends in the USA and 1 weekend in China. There is NO way this film will do over $1 billion. I think that is now evident, even to Broccoli. There is NO way Mendes will return and it's 50/50 with Cr-egg returning probably as well, once the new distributor is decided on. We are looking at a 30% LOWER box office than SF, and that is a HUGE negative for Cr-egg returning. Hopefully there will be a WB deal that includes Ms. Bouvier's hero to be named as the 7th 007. Cr-egg's been around tooooooooooooo long now and after 10 years it should be time for the next Bond actor. THAT decision will be another huge spectacle for sure :!: Bring it on.
