I think Babs is better off choosing someone who is less handsome.

One of us should do a stakeout outside Barbara's house and see if any short, blond craggy actors are regular guests at her dinner parties. Then we can predict the next Bond.
Bring back Bond!

Carrie Fisher has confirmed she will be reprising her role as Princess Leia in the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII."

Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill have been linked to returning roles in the J.J. Abrams' blockbuster for months and now the actress reveals all three will be back.

She tells TV Guide magazine the trio is expected to report to work in March or April. She says, "I'd like to wear my old hairstyle again -- but with white hair. I think that would be funny."

Earlier this week, Abrams confirmed he met with "Breaking Bad" star Jesse Plemons over a possible "Star Wars" role.

He's getting more pathetic looking by the month :!: " Dr. No No NO: Bond star Daniel Craig sports shapeless slacks, braces and garish pink laces for day out in Los Angeles. The British actor was enjoying day out in Los Angeles on Tuesday wearing a curious ensemble comprised of shapeless slacks held up with a pair of braces. Craig’s outfit was all the more distinctive thanks to the garish pink laces on his otherwise plain trainers as he took a quiet stroll with a male pal."
Meanwhile, Bond 24 will begin shooting later this year for release in 2015.
It was reported in September that Naomie Harris - who was introduced as Miss Moneypenny in last year's box office hit - will have a bigger role in the next movie, which will reportedly see her act as a sidekick to Daniel Craig's James Bond.
Director Sam Mendes and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson are reportedly keen to make Harris' character less desk-bound than previous incarnations played by actresses such as Lois Maxwell and more recently Samantha Bond."

Posted on Jan 21 2014 - 4:25pm by Nuke The Fridge "Without a doubt Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel is the king of the internet rumors. The latest one comes once again courtesy of the website Latino Review. Apparently they found a post on the NeoGaf massage boards of a person that knows someone that got fired from the movies art department. Basically it can all be BS but still a fun read."

Here’s what the poster had to say…..

MAJOR SPOILER WARNING:

• The villians are Lex Luthor and Metallo

• Batman forms a UN type deal to stop Superman from destroying another city

• Aquaman is in it, but not called Aquaman. He’s there because the world engine in the ocean did something to the fish

• Wonderwoman poses as a Wayne Enterprises investor to retrieve an item that belongs to her people.

• Lex Luthor is in the shadows a lot, a manipulator. Not much face time with Superman.

• Robin betrayed Batman at some point, leading to a falling out between them

• The Batcave was super cool looking, and the mobile looked similar to Burton’s

• Lois is investigating Lex.

Yes. That is our beloved James Bond epitomized by the always suave Daniel Craig.

I can kind of believe it except there is always some Heath crisis "experts" cry wolf about. Even so there is something unholy about cola swear it'd like to burn a hole in my stomach sometimes.

Madonna apologized Saturday for using a racial slur on Instagram to refer to her white son, seeking forgiveness a day after calling those who criticized her language "haters."

On Friday night, the singer posted a picture of her 13-year-old son, Rocco, boxing and included the comment, "No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out!" She then added a variation of the N-word.

She quickly deleted the comment when outraged Instagram users berated her for the use of the word, and was initially defiant. But in a statement to The Associated Press on Saturday, a contrite Madonna said: "Forgive me."

"I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur. I am not a racist. There's no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention," she said. "It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it's a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression."

Besides Rocco, she has three other children, including Lourdes, David and Mercy. Mercy and David are black, adopted from the African nation of Malawi.

This is the second time this year that Madonna has offended people on Instagram. Earlier this month, she posted a photo of Rocco and his two young friends holding up bottles of liquor; she defended the post as a joke.

"No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor! Don't start the year off with judgement!" she responded on Instagram.

The Legend Of Hercules was one big Harlin bomb :!: $70 million just to make it and only $18 million earned worldwide in 4 weeks :!: You cannot throw a Twilight actor into an iconic Steve Reeves film and expect success. Reeves was the ONLY Hercules and still is to this day. His 2 films are classic for 5 decades now and always will be. Another Hollywood failure but this one was a huge bust...........KIRSTEN ACUNA: 'Hercules" starred Kellan Lutz who was featured in the "Twilight" franchise. One problem was that Lutz was completely unrecognizable from his "Twilight" counterpart. Critics said the film was poorly written with weak dialogue and commented on the noticeable CGI effects. Lutz' acting didn't help either. This is the first of two "Hercules" movies out this year, with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson starring in the latter come July."

Variety.com/2014 :The producers, who have unprecedented creative control over the franchise and a sizable ownership stake, admit that the challenge is to satisfy traditionalists while keeping Bond fresh. Nine years ago, they were engulfed in a media firestorm over the selection of the younger Craig to succeed Brosnan in 2006’s “Casino Royale”; skeptics said Craig was too short (he’s 5-foot-11) or too blonde. But audiences around the world ultimately embraced the actor as the new Bond. “The whole Internet thing kind of exploded,” Barbara Broccoli recalls. “Thank goodness, Daniel didn’t get rattled. We didn’t get rattled, and we just continued making the film. And it turned out to be a bloody good film, so everybody kind of shut up after that.”...............Michael Apted, who directed 1999’s “The World Is Not Enough,” says the duo never rest on their laurels. “They’re heavily involved in every aspect,” he recalls. “At one point, I said, ‘Bond would not do that,’ and they said, ‘Yes he would,’ and I thought, ‘Well, they’ve done 19, so they know better.’ ” Apted lauded the producers’ choice to reinvent M as a female. “It turned out that they wanted performances from women that would bring in female moviegoers. So there was a female villain in a larger role, and Judi Dench’s M was much more active.”

I seriously doubt it failed due to people comparing it unfavorably to Steve Reeves's movies. Most people in the crucial 18-35 demographic probably don't even know who Reeves is. Say "Hercules" to them, and they'll most likely think of the Disney cartoon.

Or the tv series. The Percy"a haven't done that well either (Jackson and the remakes of clash of the titians). I hadn't heard much about this one and wouldn't have cared either way about it.
Now, I Frankenstein , there is a spectacular bomb. Along with jack Ryan reboot, on place was saying he was not enough of a lead to launch a series. Good point but who is a big enough lead to take on jack Ryan? Pine was not well cast IMHO but how could of put the people in the seats, I don't think the name exists in today's Hollywood. Hollywood should of launched the series back when it was relevant then maybe today it'd be a name that people go to see no matter who is playing it or how bad the movies are like bond is.
