It's much worse than that. It's trying to be better than Gone With The Wind, The Godfather, Star Wars and all other all-time classics or at least be on the same level as those icons. Why else would the b1tch hire Oscar nominees/winners and those with Oscar potential?

With those godawful scripts? Since when Bond is all about pathetic soap opera? And worst of all.... politically correct :!:

That b1tch's trying to be the likes of classic legends from the Golden Age of Hollywood.

It pains me to have to admit this, but for the first time since I became a Bond fan in the 1990's, i'm considering not watching the next film in the cinema. The longer this debacle drags on, the more I am seriously considering sitting the next one (/few) out.

Well, wanting your movies to be good is hardly a crime. The trouble is, her definition of "good" is shaped by the sort of middlebrow tat that typically gets rewarded by the Academy. And no, that doesn't include Star Wars.

I stopped going to see Bond since DAD. I would never endorse Eon's betryal with my money. Once Cr-egg goes, I will reconsider. We here are immune to her Imperious Curse, unlike her minions, right FBF?

NM along with Pierce's upcoming actioners will increase our immunity even further, and we'll need it. I wish we had this vaccine even before CR came out, and St. Vincent, one of Pierce's cancelled actioners, could have been filmed during summer of 2010. We could have had Pierce back in action realm earlier but NOT with TC2 (which is not strong enough for immunity against the DC virus). That way we would have combat those minions without any problems as to show that Pierce is still a man of action (yet be able to showcase his dark and gritty side) and worth multi-millions even without Bond.

No point in reconsidering, BJ. Getting rid of DC is not going to get rid of the problem. Two reasons: one is the nonsensical success and recognition of SF and other is the b1tch herself (who has gotten away with everything she did, especially after the way she treats Pierce). Let's not forget that James Bond is not for us anymore. Like Drakester said, once something is disgrace, you can't repair it. Again and again, the Bond role should left to the likes of Marty Feldman (in terms of unattractiveness) and wrestlers/fighters who can act, considering DC has made history with SF so why not Bond movies starring these dogs (whom the b1tch should cast once DC himself is retired)? We don't need James Bond unlike the general public does. We got M:I, Man From UNCLE, and Pierce's upcoming actioners.

I do not think Broccoli can imagine HER Bond creation without Cr-egg. If and when he goes, Sony and/or MGM will demand it and she will require anti-depressant medication and possibly be suicidal from Cr-egg withdrawal, but she loves herself far too much to pull a Brooks Hatlen from The Shawshank film.

Craig was cast in 2005. It's now 2014 and Craig is considered the best Bond and Skyfall the best Bond movie for some insane reason. It's like he has just started in the role with no sign of him leaving. :(

All I and FBF are saying is that you should abandon this franchise. Create a spy franchise of our own and take Bond down, so the CR-egg fans will end up in sheer disappointment when their "idol" stops making pathetic movies. Chick flicks with guns. And I most sincerely think, we, the members of DCINB/ClassicBondForums site should be creating something new in the same mold as Classic Bond, and take down Babs' agony-causing trend for once and for all!!

You make it sound so easy. I could write a screenplay for a rival spy franchise, but then I'd have to sell it, get it produced and then have the resulting movie gross a billion dollars. Do you know what the odds against that are? Especially as with the odd exception, such as Gravity, people seem to only want to see movies based on familiar existing properties. For that reason, I'm not even putting too much hope in November Man or The Coup. The former is based on a novel, but I wasn't familiar with it, and I don't know how much name recognition it has. The best bet might be the Man From UNCLE movie, but I'm expecting that to do Mission: Impossible numbers rather than Skyfall numbers. Sorry to be such a pessimist, but I don't see any hope of another spy movie toppling Skyfall from its perch any time soon.

We've been wasting a lot of time since 2006, Kris. We should've been trying hard. When you don't succeed for the first time, you try it again. One rival spy flick didn't work? We try again. I always have high hopes. November Man won't be successful as M:I or SkyFoul, because it's "gritty and realistic" even though, I'm still gonna watch it. Now, make something similar to over-the-top Classic Bond, not too far to be another DAD, and you'll be having something in there. I'm not saying it's gonna be easy. And I know what the odds are against, mate. I really do. But, which writer was well-received at the first try? Nobody. Someone must try something severely until it gets up on top. Have some faith, old chap.
