Batman should have kept it simple and destroyed his opponent who wanted to kill him. Why the macho hand to hand combat? Take out a canister of Bat gas as well and paralyze the bum if he wanted to do that too. With all of his toys, he chooses to fight him bare handed for pride? Ridiculous. Extinguish your enemy quickly and easily. That scene made zero sense.

Note that in this particular image he looks way older than he normally does, so imagine. But...

THIS is someone who looks like James Bond (not sure the photo shows but he's got piercing blue eyes, too). And who's got the style, charm and acting chops, too.

And another one that shows the blue eyes, too

Btw, he's 6 ft 2. With a RIDICULOUSLY great physique. And again, I'm just saying this to underline how there ARE far more Bond-looking people around than DC, who are also great actors... again not saying he should be cast at all, just showing there are options. The ONLY real and appropriate option is Henry Cavill.
The question remains, with a PLETHORA of AVAILABLE talent out there, why are we enduring Cr-egg's mug as Bond? Solo will prove Cavill can do spy genre films as a lead and yet, 5'9" tall Hardy is now the suspected front runner with Nolan directing him??????? in another trilogy???????? after kingdom comes and no more DC? Poor Idris. He's yesterday's news.

Like Drake said, James Bond is yesterday's news. He's dead but maybe not dead as he is now VERY, VERY, VERY hungry for dinner.

Hugh Dancy would be a good Bond. He's 38, well built, Blue-green eyes..only problem is that he's doing Hannibal so might be hard to get.

In the interests of full disclosure, I should say that I no longer have my copy of The Dark Knight Returns, as I had to sell my comic collection (among other things) in order to finance my move back to England from America. I had to rely on this blog instead, which is hardly the best way to revisit the scene. Having said that, two things jump out at me.

1) Batman could have blown the Mutant Leader to smithereens with his tank, but chose to fight him hand-to-hand instead. Nolan may have based the scene with Bane on this scene.
2) It's ambiguous whether Batman actually does kill the Mutant Leader. "The Mutants are dead" could just mean that the Leader is so thoroughly defeated that they are no longer a viable entity.

As for The Joker, Batman intends to kill him but cannot bring himself to do it. The Joker actually kills himself by twisting his own spine until it snaps (which I'm not sure is actually possible, but there you go). I realise this contradicts what I said before, but when I wrote that, I had not read Miller's magnum opus in a very long time.

I have absolutely nothing against Hardy, I just don't think he's the best you can do, that's for sure. Especially not with Henry Cavill around. AND he had already proven he could be Bond when he was way younger, so even more so now... I'm just glad we at least get him as Solo.

As far as Tony Goldwyn, again he can't be cast because he's American and all, but seriously, he's just one of many examples showing there ARE alternatives out there. And again, HENRY, HENRY and HENRY!! (saw photos from set in Naples today. d**n! That is all I have to say. Also the site has been down for hours for me! Glad it's back.)

Cavill looks like he could snap Cr-egg like a twig. It will be interesting to see what the Mad Woman at Eon has up her sleeve. I don't know when her unhealthy obsession with Cr-egg will end :!: :cuss:

The question is not when her unhealthy obsession with Cr-egg will end but who Babs should pick from the pool of unattractive actors and fighters/wrestlers who can act based on Skyfall's nonsensical success and recognition as well as Pierce's poor treatment.

Eon could hire the wrestler Rikishi http://chillertheatre.com/gt/faturikishi_a.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... giNovi.jpg FBF to play Bond, correct? He will be at the next Chiller Theatre convention with several other male/female wrestlers that Eon could choose from. http://chillertheatre.com/gt/gtc4.htm Do any of these wrestling guests fit your bill FBF?

Who said she's actually "obsessed" with Cr-egg? She just needs someone to dominate and control like a bloody feminist (subhuman) and then, just screw him. That's what Babs wants. A dirty woman with a twisted mind! She'll never stop promoting feminism and "power girls, ultra weak men" crap until someone slaps her like the b!tch she is. She's not "in love" with Cr-egg, she just likes to screw him as much as she wants, and I bet the Rachel Weisz marriage is just a cover and non-real, just to cover up things and deny speculations and rumours. Need I say more?

He’s the most gorgeous man in the world"..................‘Brilliant actor, and he is the greatest Bond ever - I’m not letting him go, not for a long time', Barbara told the Daily Mirror......But for Daniel's predecessor, losing the part was tough to swallow. ‘It hurt like hell, taking that phone call,’ Pierce Brosnan recalled. ‘I just said, “OK,” put the phone down and that was it. I wasn’t Bond any more. But the experience of Bond was an amazing one, a turning point in my career.' And while Sir Roger is the biggest lady-killer, Brosnan is the biggest killer, period. In his movies Golden Eye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day, Pierce notched up 76 kills.

Like I said, Babs doesn't like Cr-egg for his own likeness, but because she likes to screw him, and he's her darn loyal dog, licking her feminist feet. She's twisted. That's why she's "obsessed" to Mr. Neanderthal. Brosnan is just a good man who doesn't want to get involved in her ignorant society and circles, he had enough. And yes, he's the deadliest Bond, that being said. Roger Moore, I personally think, is either smoking weed or is suffering from Alzheimer's, just like Michael G. Wilson. Who the hell would prefer a thuggish character over a high class secret agent? That's absurd. Do you know why Brosnan stayed off the radar and had November Man cancelled in 2007? Because he didn't have enough cash to fund the project, but it's about time he resurrected the project last year, and mark my words, it's going to be a massive hit. Specially when it's directed by Roger Donaldson, the man who made Species, The Bank Job, Dante's Peak and The Recruit!

FBF knows what Broccoli is up to, gathering up elite Hollywoodies for her cadre of actors to prop Cr-egg up with, trying to legitimize herself as the REAL brains behind Eon and redirecting her father's dream into her image which is our nightmare :!:

We don't have to worry about that, I told FBF that Bond franchise hasn't got much life remaining, it's a dying franchise and people are getting bored of it. Now, BJ, I never thought I would stop being a Bond fan, but there it happened. Because there are always people who screw great things up. Remember the Clooney Batman movie? Cr-egg's Bond is like that.

Bond ended 11 years ago with DAD. It's either dormant, or destroyed, depending on how long MGM and Sony allow Broccoli to reign supreme.
