I agree with you there Kris. My Dad used to always go on about Moore being wrong for Bond when I was younger, bearing in mind my Dad was a huge fan of the books (he got me into them) and also Connery, so I grew up thinking Moore was wrong for Bond. It didn't help that I wasn't too keen on his later films like OP and AVTAK either. I remember being genuinely excited when Dalton was announced as Bond, and that he wanted to take the films back to the books. I loved both TLD and LTK wwhen they came out, and I've only recently found that same love again with the franchise since watching CR, and now SF. QoS made me worry that the series was heading back into Brosnan/Moore territory again, but I feel the producers have steered back on track again with SF.
