LTK poster never used.

Wasn't Garfield already contracted for 3 spider movies? The big news is it is being made after all,, I think they'll have better luck next time everyone knew this was a remake of a new film.

I don't have enough money to spend right now. Going to save it for Twilight, Hobbit and Les Miz. The Bat's final round is out on home video in 12/4/12 so I'll buy all formats.

Anything is preferable over Bond these days.
Do you use ultraviolet? Still not very popular all I can say is it works for me. Did you get the collectable packaging for parts 1&2 ?

Not yet on ultraviolet.

On the collectable packaging, are you referring to HP 7 Ultimate Edition?

The new James Bond movie poster book shows some of Bob Peak's unused Licence To Kill artwork, and it's pretty cool. Bob Peak's artwork for The Spy Who Loved Me poster is also really awesome. I wish they would still make movie posters like that nowadays.

And speaking of James Bond movie posters, I just saw a thread on IMDb about the lackluster quality of the Skyfall posters that have been shown so far. I totally agree, the artwork for the Skyfall posters has been very lazy. I know I always say this, but they really need to bring back the awesome illustrated James Bond movie posters again.

Maybe it is just the current fashion. Someone on a James Bond fansite will create a really good fanart poster for Skyfall (although it has Craig's unsuitable mug on it) but someone is being paid lots of money to produce a Skyfall poster that makes Craig look like Hitler walking though a drain.
Bring back Bond!

You could make a case that TLD was the last "real" Bond film:
  • Last PG rated Bond.
  • Last painted poster.
  • Last John Barry score.
Have I missed anything?

Cavil's The Cold Light Of Day is one huge stinker worldwide :!: At this popularity rate, could The Man Of Steel will be more of The Man Of Tin? Cr-egg's bomb Dream House even out did it. With Jackman's Oscar buzz film Les Mis coming out, perhaps once again could he replace the current occupant for 3 quick films?......and look great doing it :!: ........FBF, any thoughts?

Some people feel that A View To A Kill was the last of the old-school Bond films. In fact, there is a thread about that on IMDb. Here's one of the comments that I found interesting: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090264/boa ... #189431756

Sean Connery and Roger Moore have always been my favourite Bonds, and I've found their Bond films to have a similar feeling or vibe to them. So after Moore left the role, the series never really quite felt the same to me. Don't get me wrong, I still like Dalton and Brosnan (I especially liked Brosnan in GoldenEye), but somehow I could never really get into their films as much as I did with Connery and Moore. But then again, some people say that old-school Bond ended with the Dalton films, so everyone has their own opinion on the matter.

I hope Man of Steel is a success, but I would like it to stand apart from the Justice League movie just like TDK trilogy is. I wouldn't want Chris' Bat to be the only one that stands alone. That's just me though.
Cr-egg's bomb Dream House even out did it.

I hope Bond 23 is next.

I prefer Bale as Bond since Hugh is getting too old to last more than three films. Either Bale or Henry should do the trick, but that all depends on sanity of the general public, especially here in the US, when this holiday and awards season approaches.

They are saying between "$390M-$550M", it wasn't on my radar so I'm surprised.

Deadline has the cost at $104 million, Sony at $85 its going to make money if this keeps up.

They did the same lazy artwork for their Adele teaser. The Dalton poster is awesome it captures the Bond coolness.

Craig has to frown in his for some reason. Brosnan teasers were cooler than the real posters.

I can't remember the last truly cool poster for a new movie.

Here's a video blog showing the filming of an underwater fight scene in Skyfall: http://emileeid.com/2012/09/30/new-vide ... nderwater/
I can just imagine some of the people who disliked Thunderball for its so-called "dull" and "slow-paced" underwater fights, say how awesome they think the underwater fight is in Skyfall.
