I'm not buying any Bond-related products this year. If you want to buy something, buy anything from Chris Nolan's Bat. In fact, buy anything that isn't Bond.
Not happening. I'll not buy the watered down beer, video game, tie in books, ticket to the movie and/or man skank perfume but I'm damned sure going to enjoy the real 007 the best I can.

James Bond -meaning Connery to Brozza selling well sends a message to the studio heads it says they've got something here, something people want more of.
TV channels playing the movies put money in EON pockets, new DVD & Blu-rays being sold support EON. It always has it always will. Good old fashion Bond making its mark in the market is important.

The early release of Brozza's Blu-ray sold better then Connery's. Craig's movies sell very poorly, there is a mark of where they should preform -both missed it. Catalog films like Bond selling lets the studio know James bond is not dead he's waiting to come back.

Bond is a zombie now and contain an EVIL virus that infects the minds of the general public, ranging from moviegoers to awards systems.

Sure he is.

I thought the premise of this place was Craig is not Bond? How then could Bond be a zombie?

I'm not going to put off enjoying James Bond on Blu-ray -the best I can enjoy it at home for another ten years. You will live long enough to enjoy Bond for years after nobody remembers Craig's name, I need to live for today mate.

The video game industry pretty much works the same way. Developers start making garbage, and then people slowly lose interest and go back to playing the classic games, which are now more accessible thanks to things like Wii Virtual Console. Eventually, sales start to decline, forcing developers to get their act together and start making games people want to play. When it comes to Bond, just do the same thing, watch the classics or something else that gives you the same type of entertainment value. Don't support this new direction in any way if you don't care for it. If more people would do this, then eventually the filmmakers would get the message.

And if I mention anything about a torrent I'm the bad guy  (joking!)

it's a tough situation it's all the Bond movies in one box I don't know if its happened before. But you have to buy CR and QOS as well. But then its less than $7 a movie. And it is more about the original 20 than CR QOS or Spyfall. And they are not getting a free ticket / giving $10 for Spyfall like the people who bought movies when QOS was new.

I don't know the answer, buying used? But then somebody paid EON the money the first time. I guess this is what people felt when Batman and Robin was made.

Sadly most video games companies today are playing follow the cod leader, ruining every franchise in the process to make it for that gamer and not the fans (re is a big victim of this and has been since re4 but only wanted to turn into cod with re6 and the devs even mentioned that's what they wanted :(, (gits) sorry fbf I compare old re and new re the same way with bond old was great new...horrible).

Variety's dieing in gaming as it is and if it carries on there will be a games crash, mario and variety was the reason it even came back in the first place.

As for bond looks like I'll buy tomorrow never dies next then the world is not enough seperately (hopefully that gets a message across to eyawn, I hate creggs bond & till he goes I'm not giving them squat).

Another thing to people who want to spend their money on something better buy the avengers if you don't buy nolans batman trilogy, Downey Junior has got some bond elements in his stark character.

Instead of talk about Cr-egg's morose goblin Bond film, the frenzy will ALL be on these vampires :!: :!: :!: :!: FBF, spread the word throughout the land and to all the inhabitants thereof: Bond 23 will NOT outdo CR at the box office in the USA.............the overseas market is an unknown entity.........look what they did with Garfield's trashy film.

http://www.fandango.com/movieblog/skyfa ... 22549.html Eon moved up the opening of Bond 23 in the USA to Thursday November 8th :!: They know they are in box office trouble by this move. It won't help them one bit. School is in session and they want to bolster a false box office total for 4 days instead of 3 days :!: I NEVER saw Eon do this before.........EVER........a Thursday opening? It will lower the Friday total, not increase it, and make it look bad to boot. Strange.......very strange.......the beginning of the end of DC is upon us. :happy spin:

The Iron Man director busted Craig's chops a little about how he his reboot left a vacancy for the kind of character Tony Stark is.

Supporting movies you like is always the way to go. Completely understandable my buying the Bond 50th is heretical to some here, I won't argue the merits of CR or Quark there are none. There were 40 years of movies which did have merit and even if it entails generating money for EON those movie need to be supported. EON and MGM can't both be starved and Bond saved. For a short term fix best case scenario is Skyfall preforms so poorly Bond is retooled, very best is Craig retires on his own with a mediocre to good B.O. leaving money to make the next film. The worst case is if MGM goes bankrupt again, that's a completely different type of mess I don't even want to go into.

MGM is betting on Bond, if the IPO rumors are true they are betting Classic Bond re-released sells well enough to get the attention of skiddish investors. Who should be skiddish of investing in any movie house.

I have yet to watched any of the new movies that were missing from blu-ray before. But I must say on the bonus disc aside from the Skyfall promo stuff the disc wasn't as heavy with Craig propaganda as one might think. I had to laugh when I watched the feature on Bond gadgets, when it came to Craig's turn all they could show was his cell phone and the micro chip implant in his arm. I was hoping they'd show his defibrillator

But so far I like the box set and am extremely happy to have my complete Bond blu-ray set. :007: even if CR and QOS is included. The box set also has a reserved spot for skyfall.
I can't believe you bought Bond 50. That product is part of the enemy. If you want to buy something, buy the complete The Dark Knight trilogy pack.

Thought I'd start with the gun barrel since that's where it belongs
Sorry dude but I love me some 007 always have from the moment I watched Thunderball (I remember thinking what a great movie it was when 007 fell into the pool of sharks) as a kid on the living room floor with my dad. After that moment I made my Dad rent all of the Bond movies. Then as a young teen (12or13) when I saw Goldeneye in the Theatre I became a 007 geek FOR LIFE. So ya I bought the complete box set on bluray, even though it came with the Craig movies. I wanted the box set cause I've never had a complete Bond Boxset. I doubt I'll even watch the Craig movies. Bottom line I am one of the biggest Bond fans in the world (you should see my theatre room,my wife calls it my James Bond room). I will always be a Bond fan and that's why I'm on this site Daniel Craig is NOT Bond, and his movies are NOT Bond movies.

If you support any of the original 20 Bonds, you're unwillingly support DC's Bond. By not buying any Bonds when Skyfall (aka Death Star III) is about to launches it attack on us, the public forgets about Bond and goes for other franchises. As a result, less money to EON. What I meant is that Bond is dead and is nothing more than a zombie with a deadly virus.

Bond's return will be determined by this holiday season and especially the upcoming awards season, and that all comes down to the sanity of the world's general public (especially here in the US). BJ....tell bjamesobrad if we are in total agreement here.

I agree with Mazer and bjamesobrad. I don't want Bond killed altogether, I want to see new Bond films in the classic mould and whilst buying the classic Bond films doesn't ensure that will happen, a mass boycott of Bond that included the 20 real Bond films would ensure that it didn't.

The only way to rebuild is to destroy........those still photos looked dreadful and whoever writes these articles must be connected to Eon's payroll. Bardem does look Hannibal Lector-lke, Eve's hair looks like Medussa's from Clash Of The Titan's, and Cr-egg chronically sour and dour facial expressions are those of a disgruntled and constipated whole wheat bread baker :!:
