It better have a hard topping QOS and CR in the US.
The problem is now all overseas. Do you have a contingency plan to deal with these overseas minions?
The plan is to depopularized James Bond that it's all about other franchises and other potential great films.

BJ, in answer to your question::Yes, I would totally go back to Alaska. Maybe do a different itinerary(there's a cruise that goes out of Vancouver instead of Seattle and goes to a few different places than the ones we went to.)

I think you can write off Britain, as Bond has always been huge here (naturally, since it's his home turf, so to speak). Fortunately, while the UK and Ireland (treated as a single territory for box office purposes, just as the US and Canada are) is a major market, it's not so huge that it can single-handedly skew the international grosses the way somewhere like India or Japan can. I don't think it is, anyway.

Henry Cavill has a new interview coming out in a September magazine where he reiterates his interest in being James Bond. He's kept very silent about it up until now so I think the timing surely can't be coincidental... of course he's sought after and they will ask him about it, thus he'll answer, but still... I hope more and more people see how much of a good actor he is and how PERFECT he'd be for Bond.

In any case, the fact he broke his silence about it and is openly talking about it now is for sure not coincidental. I need to ask around about MGM and Sony and what they're up to...

His comment? No particular aims for the future, except one (it's the closing line of the article) "I would love the opportunity to play Bond!

The whole magazine can be downloaded in PDF here:

GO to page 28, that's where Cavill's interview is (he speaks extensively about Man of Steel... and about Cold Light of Day as well)

Bond 23 premieres in the UK in just 7 1/2 weeks. No announcement yet on most likely Adele's theme song? When will these idiots announce it? They will use her notoriety and the 50th anniversary as a selling tool for Bond 23. The film will be hyped to the ultimate. After one viewing, will the public say enough already with Cr-egg?

My guess? They really wanted Adele for the theme song, but her pregnancy has thrown a spanner in the works and now they are desperately scrambling for someone, anyone to knock out a theme tune at the last minute. But of course that's pure speculation on my part.

I think if she had done it, they would have announced it already as time is over... it's September, we're less than two months away. And it's not like they can distribute the movie the day before it premieres  Adele said nothing and she is having a baby soon. I think someone else will do it. Unless she pre-recorded it and they are so dumb as to not say anything, which seems like a stretch on their level of stupid, even for EON.

I'm more focused on the Cavill news honestly... A lot of people on Twitter have DMd me after I tweeted the interview, saying they really hope Cavill is the next Bond. Just for once, I hope history repeats itself the way it did with Pierce.

If he is not, and they keep DC again for Bond 24, after Henry PUBLICLY let it be known he wants it, even after Superman, let's chuck the whole franchise and transfer our collective energies to The Hobbit, right FBF? I will tell you this though. IF Eon is planning to terminate Cr-egg after this film it will be done QUICKLY, right after the release of the Man Of Steel, probably in July or August of next year. I don't see them announcing Cavill prior to The Man Of Steel and how will his schedule be crafted to accommodate BOTH Superman 2 Cavill and Bond 24 Cavill? It's a good thing he called off his wedding. This boy won't be free to date for years now IF he lands Bond and a Superman sequel. This way a certain Italian lady can pursue his affections while he films 2 major franchises.

We're going to transfer our collective energies anyway to the vampires and Bilbo along with the others. Who cares Bond anyway? The only way I will care about him again is if Bond 23 crashes and burn down and end up being TOTALLY forgotten.

I think the title song for Moonraker wasn't settled and recorded until a few weeks before its premiere, which could very well be the same case for Skyfall's title song.

He's been cast for another film already, "The Big Wall" it's a movie set back in time about the myth of the Big Wall in China... sounds very promising, and he was great in The Tudors, so for sure it's something he can easily handle.

Hahah BJ don't give me ideas!! If he's cast as Bond I will demand at least a dinner given I've been relentlessly promoting him for the role!

Even if they do a second Superman movie (I sure hope so for him, because it would mean the first one did well) I don't think he'd have problems filming Bond as well. Superman films way early so I think if they do another one that by the early summer of next year they'd be filming. EON instead is slow as all hell, so I guess if he was cast as Bond they wouldn't be filming before the spring of 2014   Seriously, I don't know but I'm quite sure they will accommodate his filming needs if they cast him. I can't even believe that, if Henry was Bond, I'd finally have a Bond movie to look forward to after all these years. This is what EON has done to me.

Eon CLAIMS they want to do a Bond film every 2 years now so they MUST be ready to film by January 2014 at the latest to release it in November 2014. A Superman sequel won't be rushed. All superhero films get a 3 year hiatus between sequels. It would occur in 2016 probably, 3 years later so there should be adequate time to do a Bond film, Property (Henry Cavill) Of An Italian Lady, and a Superman sequel. They should be working on a new script for Bond 24 NOW if they truly plan a 2014 release date. "Henry did a great screen test for Bond. So did Daniel, although he arrived for his looking really tired after a night flight from America where he was finishing up a movie called The Invasion," Campbell said. "None of us making the casting decision were 100% sure. I needed a couple of days to think about it. Over that weekend I saw Daniel's film Layer Cake and he showed such "terrific charm" in that that it convinced me he should get the part." Terrific charm? Is he kidding or being paid to say that? DC has the charm of a cobra :!:

No they are ripping off Sherlock! First thing to come to mind is Sherlock. Heaven forbid they actually watch popular British shows so it is probably intended to be homage to Lector.

Not a group of photos to be proud of unless one is already sold on a stuntman as James Bond.

Yes, and that wasn't very good, at least not by the standards of the people involved. I reckon this one is going to be knocked out by someone you vaguely remember seeing on the cover of the NME 10 years ago, just like the last one.

I think the title song for Moonraker is pretty good. I like the soundtrack too, it's one of John Barry's finer works in the series, although I like all of his James Bond soundtracks.
