Mazer Rackham wrote:Activision and Nintendo do not know where they want to take this game. Is it a game of the movie or a remake of the original.. My guess is they really give a d**n as long as it sells. So far it seems sales may disappoint them since nobody is enthusiastic about this game. It has the strong taint of deliberate exploitation, a major turn off for casual buyers. There are some Bond fans who will feel compelled to buy it because they buy everything Bond, for god's sake people draw the bloody line somewhere!

I've made this point before-but was jumped all over for making it. :? How many freaking copies of(insert name of Bond movie /video game/tsotchke) do you really need?

Not sure whose brilliant idea it was to cast Craig in this remake, but I'm sure it wasn't Craig's. From the sound of his voice in the game and the lack of his outspoken support or even acknowledgment of this game (as others have said), he was forced into this because of his contract. If they were really that hard-pressed to get Brosnan to do this, be it for contractual reasons or whatnot, make another f---king game title for crying out loud. Are Babs and whomever really that sour toward Brosnan that they'd snuff and disrespect the legacy of his best film like this? If he had been approached and declined that would be a bit more respectable, but if that were the case I'm sure that either he or they would have mentioned it.
Do try to return some of this equipment in pristine order, 007
