Um, I can't remember.

I think I felt obliged to vote for Moneypenny, since I'd just posted my Risico fanfic, in which she featured prominently.

I'm starting to warm to the idea of Moneypenny returning, though not Q, and not for a few films yet..maybe when they have a new Bond?

As for Q, to repeat what I said on another thread, that role will always belong to Desmond Llewellen.

Moneypenny.
She was a charming ideal Fleming imbued the stories with.

If they could bring Moneypenny back and not have it be totally cheesy, it would be fine. EON would probably screw it up though

Bring back henchmen we can believe in! :)
James Bond is a incredible man and requires a somebody we can believe is able to defeat him.
The villain has to be super smart and super loco to make him a threat worthy of Bond. His henchmen has to be super enough to bring the villains devils dream to life and at a minimum look able of thwarting a fly. James Bond drives cars under water and hang glides from moving boats. In the movies accountants do not make great villains and henchmen rolled into one. Neither do Meter Maids provide inspiration for gripping movies and televisions shows. Cop shows not Meter Maids, Henchmen that can chew through steel cable not clumsy accounts who put axes through their own foot

Sorry, but I don't agree with most of this. I hate the OTT aspects of Bond films, and don't want to see villains chewing through cables, or Bond driving under water.

Welcome to the forum, BTW. 8)

I miss Binder, Kleinman, Barry, a few witty lines, fun, Q, a few gadgets, Moneypenny, Ken Adam, Derek Meddings, a great villain, and, generally, a bit of style and panache, which is why Bond became a pop culture icon in the first place. I get can get stoic and violent everyman heroes elsewhere.

Presumably Kleinman will be back. He's the only really talented person left at Eon and they dumped him for the last film!

The opening credits for the last one looked like they had been made with an Etch a Sketch.

I have to correct you there Captain. They actually used Fuzzy Felt to make the Quantum of Solace title sequence.
