Not by me either. Fortunately, I don't think the soup man wants to come back.
You know both movies have some tedious drawn out parts that a better director or editor working with him could have corrected.

I prefer Campbell's slow pacing much better than Forster's effort.

I doubt if many right now would disagree with you on that.

Campbell does do solid workman like effort. Not very often is he inspired or inspiring. But compared to Forster, a workman like job could be reassuring.

Taken from the first line of the original post:
Following on from the discussion on the GD thread, who would you like to see direct Bond 23? I have some names I'd like to see, but they are either too famous (Steven Spielberg, James Cameron) or too closely associated with another franchise (Christopher Nolan). At one time I might have said John Woo, but that was before M:I2.

James Cameron is a great idea! He should revive the Terminator character (the ones he made) as a modernization of Bond. Daniel Craig as T-2010 aka Bond

Steven Spielberg could make a Minorty Report Sequel through Bond 23 - Daniel Craig as the lead actor.

Michael Bay could turn the Bond Franchise into Bond Transformers, considering the Bond transformation that happened two years ago.

Anyway Paul Greengrass together with writer Tony Gilroy will make Bond 23 awesome!

James Bond: NOT just another action hero.
