It's all good :) I stole the idea from another forum and it works, easy to catch up with the game at a glance.

Since there is an elimination game afoot I posted the first of a string of reviews from Rotten Tomatoes Community Manager Ryan Fujitani for your debating pleasure.

Ryan Fujitani is watching all of the James Bond films in order and openly states he has never watched them before this.

I was hoping I'd get to deliver another coup de grace, but oscartheman managed to get in there before my 24-hour limit had expired. C'mon people, I know I'm not the only LTK fan out there, yet I seem to be the only person giving it points. Let's show it some love, y'all.

I am finding it difficult to give anyone a negative as I like the 20 non "Craigist Atrocity" Bond films equally.

I'm finding it more difficult as the game progresses, hence the repetitiveness of my votes. Moonraker and Octopussy are the only flms left that I can really give negative reviews to, as both of them went too far in the direction of comedy for my tastes. I won't be sorry to see TWINE go if somebody does deduct that final point, though, as I felt it should have been better than it actually was. Most of the blame goes to whoever decided to cast Denise Richards - the second worst piece of casting in Bond history, IMO

I like LTK a lot, one of my favs and one of my early Bond films before I became a bigger fan. But as I said, I'm sticking to put positives into the best and the negatives to the worst of the list. Shame though, I'd love to help LTK survive longer though, but I'm sticking to keeping FRWL up.

Yup. Admirably it tries to do something new but it gets hampered by the cliches, bad writing and acting. For example Elektra is supposed to be the main Bond girl and main villain, that was the whole twist, yet it seems Denise Richard's character was tacked on just so Bond could have some lady with him at the very end and stick to formula. I think LTK's failure is the reason EON was scared into sticking to the formula as much as possible during the 90s.

But again, all of Brosnan's films have GREAT premises that were cut off by cliches. I mean DAD's original premise of Bond going after a mole in MI6? Sounds like a great spy story! Instead diamonds got mixed in the plot and Bond's initial intentions were forgotten by the writers.

Not sure how much P&W are to blame - from what I understand, Lee Tamahori messed with the script. A lot.

The amazing thing about Tamahori is that in all the interviews I read prior to DAD, he goes on and on about how "I wanted to avoid MOONRAKER puns" and how "Kids aren't stupid, so we won't modernise it with bullet time", and then the f**king movie DOES EXACTLY THAT. There must be some shocking lack of self-awareness in his brain if the end result is the polar opposite of his intention.
