Yes, SP is a little ahead at this point than i thought it would be, and the next holiday week upto, and including NY, will add a few more $ mil to the total.
Just need the film to edge over a total of $862.5 mil, for me to win the competition, and collect the prize, though no one has told me what that is yet.
Not sure if SP will reach $200 mil in N.America, though the film is doing pretty good for a film that is playing at only 342 theaters.
ECH-TRE dropped to "21"th place over the HOLIDAY weekend, even behind something called Dilwale , with more final numbers coming in. A new Bond will definitely be in the discussion at MGM next year. The question is will they force Broccoli to capitulate with their demands, or does MGM love Cr-egg as much as she does?..............Weekend Actuals: 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Destroys Second Weekend Record With $149.2M

Something weird is going on with ECH-TRE's box office totals from December 23-28 in the USA. It's still an estimate, not an actual numbers total yet. ALL of the other films have their actuals listed EXCEPT for ECH-TRE and In The Heart Of The Sea. Could it be the figures were so low that MGM is holding back the disastrous amount for fear of ridicule on a holiday weekend as it dropped into "21st" place

I don't know I think bo mojo put a priority on the top ten then the rest as time allows . Maybe the numbers are bad and the want to update at the end of the year
QOS did $1.1 million it's 8th weekend in the USA ECH-TRE fell below QOS on the back end of the weekends Embarrassment for EON for sure. I doubt ECH-TRE lasts 11 weeks now, as QOS did, being as low as it currently is. Where is Ale to toast to the end of Cr-egg hopefully and find out what's going on behind the scenes from her contacts

I didn't see anything about it being an estimate when I looked just now. It was at #21 with a weekend total of $890,000.

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?pa ... bond24.htm "Estimates" December 23-28. There is no way a film does rounded to zero numbers 6 straight days. It did not do the estimate $890,000 for the weekend. It's actuals are still unknown and it's Tuesday. This website has the weekend estimate at a lower $865,000: http://www.the-numbers.com/weekend-box-office-chart ....................Overseas, Star Wars: The Force Awakens took in an estimated $39.4 million on Monday. The film has now grossed $589.7 million overseas and $1.161 billion globally.
Overseas, Star Wars: The Force Awakens took in an estimated $37.7 million on Tuesday. The film has now grossed $627.4 million overseas and $1.228 billion globally. They have no idea of the true box office of ECH-TRE for the past 7 days. They are making them up and just 'estimating' numbers since last Wednesday.
Interestingly, if you narrow down the most recent US/Canada weekend chart to just those movies currently in their 8th week of release, SPECTRE is still outgrossed by Spotlight and Brooklyn, neither of which I've heard of, at #17 and #18 respectively.

Tell that to Broccoli and let's see her reaction. Front loaded all the way and to be lower than those 2 insignificant films weekend 8 is a disaster for MGM and they know it.
IMO she thought she'd get a billion no matter what so cost didn't matter no the it drawing along under $900 million she has got to be answering question to the people invested in the movie
I don't see it in this week's Theater Counts chart on BOM. I know absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, but it's possible that it may have finished its North American theatrical run (though it is still playing at my local multiplex here in England, albeit only twice a day).
