Trust Me, being 14, what do you think of Connery vs. Craig, since Connery's era was way before your time? Do you equate Craig as Bond more so, or do you find Connery as iconic?
Re: Favourite Bond Theme Song?
AWT isn't my favorite(honestly, they could have done a LOT better) but Lulu's is by far the weakest theme.

My top five would be :
Nobody Does It Better (Carly Simon)
On Her Majestys Secret Service (John Barry)
You Only Live Twice (Nancy Sinatra)
All Time High (Rita Coolidge)
You Know My Name (Chris Cornell)
The last one I wasn't a big fan of upon its initial release. But it's grown on me alot.
The others are just Bond classics imo.
Honorable mentions to :
A View To A Kill
Moonraker
Diamonds Are Forever
Thunderball
Live And Let Die
The Living Daylights
and
GoldenEye

Sorry, only saw this now.bjmdds wrote:Trust Me, being 14, what do you think of Connery vs. Craig, since Connery's era was way before your time? Do you equate Craig as Bond more so, or do you find Connery as iconic?
Connery is the better Bond then Craig. It's often been said about me (about blogging, James Bond and other things like them) that I'm a 30 year old stuck in a teenage body, because of my maturity.
Yeah, you might want to know this now. I'm not stupid. I'm not one of these "Zomg isnt pierse br0snan t0tally l337?" I actually take the time to use proper grammar, cos, y'know, I respect people.
Gosh I do ramble, don't I?
Best Bonds
1) Connery
2) Dalton
3) Craig
4) Lazenby
5) Moore
6) Brosnan
Yeah, Brosnan last, and you'd think with the whole both-of-us-being-Irish lark that I'd like him
Getting back to AWTD, I like it because it's catchy. It's a modern song for a modern Bond. Bond needs to adapt to the 21st century or get left behind.
It also has a fabulous drum beat, which I can play along to. I might record myself and stick it on YouTube for you.

How come Another Way To Die has more votes than For Your Eyes Only? It's a disgrace!!

Die Another Day is surprisingly popular.
'She looked sharply up at him. 'And who might you be?'
'My name's Bond, James Bond'.
'My name's Bond, James Bond'.

If we stuck to partisan BS our opinions wouldn't be as fun to read.

I chose A View To A Kill, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Live And Let Die and Goldfinger.
Also where's Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang? Does that one count?

Goldfinger is one of my favorites. Shhirley Bassey has an amazing voice(even now-and she's 70-something years old!)

Tom Jones's Thunderball.
'"Half an hour too long," he said. "And the music was crap."' - Sean Connery on Casino Royale.
Re: Favourite Bond Theme Song?
It's hard to choose because there are so many good ones. I chose Nobody Does it Betterbecause it is the song that best encapsulates the essence of James Bond. Hmmm...not much love for Lulu
