Suppose we could start a new poll or elimination game
"Those were the days when we still associated Bond with suave, old school actors such as Sean Connery and Roger Moore,"

Re: Favourite Bond Theme Song?
Well, just the other day I was reflecting that YOLT is a great song, period. The opening bars are the most original and sweeping of all the Bond songs. First, the low register, and then the violins, building up. There's the first notes of OHMSS, which is sort of a Christmas-theme (it sounds like a Christmas song, which I can't recall right now); there's GF, with its wonderful blaring horns which set the ante for Bond songs: but here, we can see that many generic Bond themes can use the minor notes of GF, without fear; but YOLT's opening bars (and refrain) are unique. Whenever I hear latter Bonds' sweeping orchestras, YOLT is always the benchmark. Frank Sinatra said George Harrison's Something was one of the best love songs (he may have actually said it was the best love song; whatever, that's high praise. It's a nice touch that his daughter participated in one of the great, and overlooked, songs of the modern era. When you study its composition, its lyrics, well, really, King John Barry was in touch with the celestial spheres. What song won the Academy Award for that year? Will have to see if it's better than YOLT! It should be included in any list of Top 50 pop songs.
You move very well for a dead man, Mister Bond

Re: Favourite Bond Theme Song?
There's no song that is more Bond-like than Thunderball.Alongside this one GoldenEye has to be my favourite.I also love "The World is Not Enough".Goldfinger and Live and Let Die can take 4th and 5th place.
So...
1)Thunderball/GoldenEye
2)The World is Not Enough
3)Goldfinger
4)Live and Let Die
