Apoliogies for arguing with myself here, but on second thoughts, maybe CR is a good fit for SyFy after all. Part of the reason for the change of name, and why they're showing things like James Bond films in the first place, is that the head of the channel has a long-standing reputation for being slightly embarrassed by actual science fiction, dismissing it as marginal stuff for nerds (ignoring the fact that Star Wars is the second biggest grossing film of all time, after Gone with the Wind, when adjusted for inflation - if that's not mainstream, I don't know what is).
