Thimothy Dalton : "Skyfall Deserves An Oscar"
Thimothy Dalton : "Skyfall Deserves An Oscar"
Actor Timothy Dalton, who played James Bond twice in the 1980s, says the newest James Bond film "Skyfall" deserves to win one of the major Academy Awards.
"It is absolutely time for Bond to get proper attention at the Oscars. On almost every level this Bond movie 'Skyfall' is right at the forefront of what cinema is capable of.
The film is an absolutely modern James Bond, a movie truly of its time. Daniel Craig is fantastic and it feels very real. It has also got a great story about M with a nice streak of cynicism. I thought the film was fabulous,"

I know all of you here may find that difficult to take in, but you have to face up to it.

Re: Thimothy Dalton : "Skyfall Deserves An Oscar"
I thought I'd approve this post even though the poster has posted lots of trolling posts under different names and we have discussed Timothy Dalton's views on Skyfall in the BJMDDS general discussion thread. (If the fanatical fruitcake Craig fans can't find it, it can found here http://danielcraigisnotbond.com/forum/v ... tart=18840 )
It's just that Craig>All has submitted this post several times even though it has not been approved as he is an abusive troll; but he obviously has some psychological need to see it appear on this forum so I thought I'd be nice and oblige him.

Re: Thimothy Dalton : "Skyfall Deserves An Oscar"
I think we've been too nice to these trolls, personally. Many of the people here have been banned from other Bond forums for daring to dissent from the EON-approved line on Craig, yet we allow people to blatantly troll here in the one forum that exists specifically for this dissent. It's like some North Korean underground publication allowing articles praising Kim Jong-Un in the interest of "balance", when praise of Dear Leader is not exactly in short supply elsewhere in North Korea.

If we're already talking about it I usually don't allow them. Since this one didn't have a thread I don't know but there not a lot here to merit a whole thread.

look who's talking !
When it's about praise Mr Craig, it's hard for you to be objective, am i right ?!
Can you tell me the reason of this website ?! Boycotting Craig's movie ? It's a failure.
Skyfall is the most successful James Bond movie of all time, Craig is popular as Bond, you have to face up to it.
Just take a Look at the opinion pool on YOUR website ( ), with 40%, Craig is the favourite EON Bond actor.
IMDB : 8/10
rottentomatoes : 92%
Box office : 1 billion worldwide
What can you say to that ?!

The Sweeney has opened a Re-Education Camp for Bond fans who do not like Craig, After reading CraigAll's rational case for supporting Craig's Bond I've booked all the DCINB members in.

I can't read the James Bond forums as they wind me up with all the OTT horseshit about the Craig Bond movies.

I think Craig>All will have to face up to the fact that Skyfall did not get an Oscar nomination for best film.

Re: Thimothy Dalton : "Skyfall Deserves An Oscar"
The reason why Skyfall got Oscar nominations is that Babs The B1tch surrounded herself with Oscar nominees/winners and other great and popular talents like Adele. Looking at Pierce's Bonds, none of got any, not even in the technical category. What an insult. Might as well have Marty Feldman as Bond.

Re: Thimothy Dalton : "Skyfall Deserves An Oscar"
I think Eon should have hired a serious Oscar nominated actor such as Hugh Jackman as Bond instead of old one-face Craig.
