Re: Discussion SPECTRE: The Unofficial Novelisation
Sorry OZ the great and powerful ( I think ) I did not see a way to change it before. Anyhow I would not have done it without asking first. Only mentioned it because I thought I dropped a stinker in the main story thread.
I got a few ideas reading over those leaks that I suppose we are not supposed to know about. The assassination in Mexico has given me a few possibles.
Anyhow don't wait on me I'm like turtle on the computer. Typing a few words, staring off into space for an hour, typing a few more. . Well more like a mythical typing turtle who also is a Dr Who fan. In the mix of painfully slow typing and space staring is watching the E-pace trilogy while wearing a silly scarf.

Re: Discussion SPECTRE: The Unofficial Novelisation
Sorry if i mess up the rhythm for anybody. Most of this I had done earlier, desperately trying to cram it in before we get too far.
Had an idea that Bill Tanner does not kill himself because he is a traitor. He might say he is only in order use it an excuse to escape Bond's friendship. The theme would be most of the loves in Bond's life instead of being tragic circumstances kill themselves to avoid Bond.

I just read Chapter 17 by Blowfeld. I'm still laughing.
Re: Tanner suicide. Yes, you could do it like the movie Airplane! where everyone Robert Hays told his sad story to wanted to kill themselves.

I'm going to steal the dream sequence idea from you to undo the disruption I caused. Whoever is planning the next chapter don't worry you will have a blank canvas to work with.

reserved
A dream sequence in 3 parts; for two parts Bond has a dream in a dream. The middle sequence will be MP's dream of being in a bank Bond is robbing. When it ends the Bond world well be as it is with the mission proceeding, anything out of order is do to food poisoning.

If we're reserving stuff, I have an idea for the big car chase in Rome.

Re: Discussion SPECTRE: The Unofficial Novelisation
I think we could reserve chapter or events is someone has something they want to write.
I reserved a place holder with a synopsis so the story could move past the mess up in theme and rhythm I plopped down.
Also love the missing chapters, I think we had a few last time.

Re: Discussion SPECTRE: The Unofficial Novelisation
Sorry it took so long had to translate it from the original Klingon to Mandarin then to Bond.
BTW reading my own words I feel I should clarify, I was not trying to be a prat claiming something, although it would probably be a good idea to split up the chapters to those who want them, my intention was to put a place holder in let the next writer have their chapter and I would go back to patch up the hole I carelessly made in the wall.

In that case, I should probably rethink my claim to the car chase. Others may want to tackle that scene, and I don't want to spoil it for anyone else. I just had a gag (singular) that I thought was funny, but it could be that someone else wants to really take the scene apart, in which case, my version would mess that up a bit. Sorry to be so vague, but it's hard to say more without giving away the joke.

Re: Discussion SPECTRE: The Unofficial Novelisation
I've had another stab at breaking the rest of the film down into chapters, based on the latest information. As before, this is meant as a guideline rather than a straitjacket, so feel free to ignore it if it becomes restrictive. Numbers in parentheses refer to the scene numbers in the shooting outline, or so I am informed
Chapter 19: The start of a new day, a rainy and gloomy one, naturally (31-33)
Chapter 20: Bond meets Lucia at a funeral in Rome and seduces her (34-41)
Chapter 21: Bond enters the villain's lair (42-44)
Chapter 22: Car chase in Rome (45-59)
Chapter 23: The vote for Nine Eyes in Japan (60-60B)
Chapter 24: Bond literally bores Mr White to death in Austria (61-67)
Chapter 25: The 00 section is disbanded. Bond goes rouge (sic), just for a change (71A-73B)
Chapter 26: Bond meets Madeleine, bodges the meeting and sees her being kidnapped by Stockman/Oberhauser/Blofeld/Dr Evil's henchmen. (78-80)
Chapter 27: Another car/plane chase (81-97)
Chapter 28: Bond and Madeleine meet Q back at his hotel and find that C has been made King of All Spies (99-107B)
Chapter 29: Bond and Madeleine go a-sleuthing in Tangier (108-117D)
Chapter 30: Train fight, from Morocco with love (118-138)
Chapter 31: Bond and Madeleine in the Crater Observatory (139-143A)
Chapter 32: Dr Evil explains his plan, instead of just shooting Bond when he has the chance (144-146)
Chapter 33: Bond goes rouge again - and M joins him (151-151C)
Chapter 34: Bond kills Moriarty (152-153C)
Chapter 35: Bond goes after Dr Evil (153C-191)
Chapter 36: Bond and Madeleine chase Dr Evil's helicopter in a speedboat (191A-198)
Chapter 37: Coda (201-203)
Again, these are just suggestions. I hope people find them helpful, but if not, there is absolutely no obligation to be bound by them.

Good structuring Kris!
Reading the leak I'd almost like to take a stab of writing a proper 007 adventure fixing all of the errors the emo branding includes.
After the last chapter I had Bond nightmares. I was watching the filming, some parts were well done, however there was a team of people in the background watching the old movies trying desperately to find a ending to copy. This team may be very real as is the desperation I fear.

I have been trying to think of a way to work 'Ur willy is rubbish'

Only half serious. Maybe.
It is a better PSA than the one Daniel and Barbara made.

That was pretty much my reaction when I saw these messages in the "pending approval" queue. I wasn't sure whether to allow them, but they didn't break any forum rules, as far as I can tell.Omega wrote:Huh?
