I would personally say "rarely smiles." Craig does smile when he's being tortured, and he sort of smiles in those forced love scenes.katied wrote:never smiles

He smiled in the flashback scenes in Cowboys v Aliens. The Saint 007 wrote:I would personally say "rarely smiles." Craig does smile when he's being tortured, and he sort of smiles in those forced love scenes.katied wrote:never smiles

There's a scene in Casino Royale where Craig gives a sinister smile after he blows up that guy in the airport, and it reminds me of the Grinch.carl stromberg wrote:Craig looks creepy when he tries to smile.

Craig is the Grinch who stole Bond. The Saint 007 wrote:There's a scene in Casino Royale where Craig gives a sinister smile after he blows up that guy in the airport, and it reminds me of the Grinch.carl stromberg wrote:Craig looks creepy when he tries to smile.

I always though it was creepy psychopathic grin. It was taking delight in killing somebody that Bond did not do.carl stromberg wrote:Craig is the Grinch who stole Bond. The Saint 007 wrote:There's a scene in Casino Royale where Craig gives a sinister smile after he blows up that guy in the airport, and it reminds me of the Grinch.carl stromberg wrote:Craig looks creepy when he tries to smile.
Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

Yeah, that creepy grin is rather disturbing. From the moment I saw that scene, I thought this is definitely not the James Bond I know and love.

Re: Sum up the Craig era in two words
Personally, it's like deja vu of the Roger Moore era. I loved RM in other things but really dislike his portrail of JB.. but the box office was there (except for the last one). At least these movies are OK as action adventure, but just about anyone can be "sold" as an action hero these days....just not James Bond
. Sorry Danny.

I agree. I feel like making a big bonfire and burning all my Bond things as the Craig as bond charade is just going to go on and on.shaken not stirred wrote:Killed bond and My interest in 40 great years of this franchise.

Why let this mess ruin your enjoyment of the past? I don't like Craig as Bond, and I want this era to be over asap, but i'm not going to let this buggery of the franchise ruin my enjoyment of the past films, especialy TLD & LTK.

Carl you really are off the edge now and I agree with you. Cr-egg has cast a rotten stench over the ENTIRE franchise.....so long Bond, James Bond.carl stromberg wrote:I agree.
