Ian Fleming's bond actors
Ian Fleming was asked in 1961 which actors resembled Bond. These are the seven actors he suggested:
Richard Burton
Stewart Granger
Rex Harrison

McGoohan looks the most like Craig in that pic. Not much, but a little.

I always thought he looked like Roy Schneider.Kristatos wrote:McGoohan looks the most like Craig in that pic. Not much, but a little.
Funny though, I always thought Roger Moore started to resemble Rex Harrison by the 80s.

Which I'm sure the pro-Craigers have managed to convince themselves is the spitting image of Daniel Craig.carl stromberg wrote:Here is the composite image made up of the actors Fleming mentioned that scientists made last year:

The first three made me think of Ian.

Maybe a little. Only after Daniel's Steve McQueen ultimate makeover.

Nah, Damian Lewis looks more like McQueen.

(I LOVE the idea of Kevin Mc Kidd playing Bond..but if people have issues with a blonde Bond, imagine the issues they'd have with a ginger one..he'd have to dye his hair. )
Mckidd would be the "Daywalker Bond"

Re: Ian Fleming's bond actors
That is clearly not funny.
Re: Ian Fleming's bond actors
My vote would either go to McKidd or Lewis.Though they would probably have to dye their hair
Re: Ian Fleming's bond actors
Just as jokes about religion are "clearly not funny" to the devout and jokes about politicians are "clearly not funny" to their staunchest supporters. Your problem, I'm afraid to say, is that you have absolutely no sense of humour whatsoever where Craig is concerned. I bet if it was a similar joke about Brosnan, you'd be laughing your arse off.Captain Nash wrote:That is clearly not funny.

And people wonder why I accuse some pro-Craigs of having no sense of humorKristatos wrote:Just as jokes about religion are "clearly not funny" to the devout and jokes about politicians are "clearly not funny" to their staunchest supporters. Re: Ian Fleming's bond actors
I think the Jackman boat might have sailed. Henry Cavill must be in pole-position...unless Babs has another bombshell up her sleeve.
"I can't do that superhero stuff" Daniel Craig
Re: Ian Fleming's bond actors
I think Worthington next, then Cavill. I hope so, anyway. Cavill is still a little fresh-faced at the mo. Though it depends on how long Craig stays in the role, I suppose. I'm pretty confident it won't be Jackman or Bale, however much the fans may want them.James wrote:I think the Jackman boat might have sailed.
