When is Seagal going to retire?Dr. No wrote:Seagal is starting to look more and more like the guy him did a MADTV impersonation of him
how can anyone take Seagal seriously or have the gall to suggest his name in the same breath as with bond?
The guy was bad cliche action star in the early 80s and went down hill fast. Chuck Noris and Jackie Chan have more acting skill than Seagal.
I did like Under Siege but most of his work is a bad B moive spy stuff. Secret CIA killer who just wants to retire... In a world where the bag guys will not leave him alone

The last theatrical movie he did was 2002's Half Past Dead. He mostly does direct-to-video movies these days.Dr. No wrote:Is he still making movies? Last one i heard about was years a go in a super bowl ad. Exit wounds or something. teamed up with a rapper.FormerBondFan wrote:

Direct to movie video movies are,by their nature dreadful(Pierce Brosnan's recent straight to video movie anyone?)

This from the chap who deified Daniel in another thread
A rare concurrence of circumstances have us unanimously agreeing that Steven Seagal is an inappropriate choice. The stars must be aligned just right

If Seagal does a Bond movie, it would mostly be direct-to-video.

his movie roles are "bond lite with or without women"that goes straight to dvd.
Typical. A secret agent being set up... how many times did he play that kind of role?
How about "the man with the golden gun" straight to dvd remake? this time bond played by Seagal does the 'kick-ass' aikido moves himself and not defended by 2 girls in school uniform.
James Bond: NOT just another action hero.
I'll skip Bond 23 & wait for:
Bond is on an indefinite leave, He'll Be Back.
