Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire now has a global total of $523 million. It was #1 for four weekends in a row globally and is now the biggest grossing film in the Monsterverse in 24 international markets (excluding previews), including Brazil, Indonesia, and Mexico. It is also the all-time biggest WB Film in India and Cambodia and the first WB Film ever to cross the Rs.1 billion box office mark in India. Godzilla x Kong is distributed by Legendary East in China and TOHO in Japan. It seems ape movies are popular and another Planet Of the Apes film will be out in 2 weeks as well.

On Rotten Tomatoes, "Goldfinger" currently sits at a 99% critic score. That makes it the highest-rated James Bond movie on the website. The critical consensus reads: "'Goldfinger' is where James Bond as we know him comes into focus — it features one of 007's most famous lines ('A martini. Shaken, not stirred.') and a wide range of gadgets that would become the series' trademark." A quick look at the RT rankings reveals that 1963's "From Russia with Love" is a close second with a 97% critics score, followed by "Dr. No" with 95%.

Followed by Casino Royale, Skyfall, Thunderball and NTTD. Fair enough, I get that CR and Skyfall were critically acclaimed, even if I thought the latter in particular was way overrated. I'm surprised NTTD scored so highly, though, and even more surprised that its audience score was higher than its Tomatometer score. Good to see SPECTRE and QOS near the bottom, though.bjmdds wrote:On Rotten Tomatoes, "Goldfinger" currently sits at a 99% critic score. Alex Apati at Ladbrokes told the Express that Cavill was looking good at 4/1: "Last month's news suggested Bond chiefs had found their man, but with things going quiet on the Aaron Taylor-Johnson front, we're not yet ruling out a former favourite getting the gig, in the shape of Henry Cavill." Unlike many stars who have been rather coy about any desire to take the coveted role, Cavill has never hidden his hope, previously saying: "I would love to play Bond, it would be very, very exciting."

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Justjared.com: Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson are enjoying a day out together. The 33-year-old The Fall Guy actor and the 57-year-old Back to Black director stepped out to do some shopping together on Saturday afternoon (May 4) in the Notting Hill neighborhood of London, England.------as we can see the MEDIA seems to be intensely interested in the age difference as well. They CONSTANTLY write about the age gap and this won't be a plus for the Bond franchise at any premieres if she shows up on the red carpet with him.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Now his wife, Sam Taylor Johnson is speaking out. When asked about if he’d landed the role, Sam kept things vague, telling ET, “I mean it would be amazing, let’s see.” She did add he “has the chops” to take on the iconic role. “That would be so fun.”-----reading between the lines this looks like a done deal so what is the green goblin waiting for already and just announce another bad choice.
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
It sounds like she doesn't want to rule it out, but the fact that they haven't officially announced it yet suggests that it isn't a done deal. I don't know what the hold-up is, but something must be delaying the announcement.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Mommy-wife Johnson was interviewed this morning on the Today Show and at the end the question was asked: https://www.today.com/video/sam-taylor- ... 1127877788 You can see it in her face it IS a DONE deal!
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
It felt to me like she was tired of answering the question. It's the same answer she always gives, basically "it's not up to me". I wonder if she's as tired of waiting for Babbzy to make up her mind as we are.
